Errors on Amazon: 0 Stars. First and foremost, I'd like to state that, as far as I can tell, the quality of the chef frog products is excellent. I'm not a professional, but this line of products has so far exceeded my expectations for everyday cooking that any modern family will do in their kitchen. br>br>Now, for the second part of my argument: The product I ordered was never delivered to me. I was given a serving spoon rather than a spaghetti fork. I didn't have a need for one right now, despite how lovely and well-made it was. This error was caused by an Amazon blunder. br>br>However, I must commend the Chef Frog company on their unwavering professionalism in attempting to rectify the error. They had resent the fork to me with no fuss. However, due to yet another Amazon clerical error, I was once again sent the incorrect item. I'm waiting for my spaghetti fork, and based on what I've seen so far, I'm optimistic that it will arrive soon. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> Chef Frog personally delivered the correct item to me. It was only today that I received it. They went above and beyond the call of duty to rectify the situation. 5 stars.
This pasta fork is one of my favorites. I'm seeing other gadgets that go with it, and I'm starting to want them as well. I used a coupon to order this, and I'm so glad I did. It's a huge improvement over the one I've been using for years. It arrived quickly, and even before I tried it, I could tell it was of high quality. It's a lovely kitchen accessory, and I'd buy it as wedding gifts or recommend it to anyone considering buying one.
Although the stainless steel is attractive, the handle does not feel particularly comfortable in my hands. The stainless steel can be slippery, and the round shape, rather than an oval or rectangular shape, makes it more difficult to twist and turn as needed with your hand. I've discovered that I prefer wood or bamboo handles. Bamboo doesn't deteriorate, and unlike other woods, I haven't had any issues with bamboo products splitting at glue joints.
Because a pasta fork I'd had for more than 30 years broke, I had to replace it. This one was found on Amazon and has seen a lot of action. It's simple to keep clean, heat-resistant, and dishwasher-safe.
Our new "Pasta Frog" was put to work right away, and in his first few days, he survived multiple dishwasher trips and heapings of spaghetti. Pasta Frog has easily replaced a broken pasta fork, despite the silicone being thicker than I had expected. If Pasta Frog wears out or suffers unexpected performance declines, I'll update; otherwise, it's been stable and reliable so far.
Using a spatula to make spaghetti is 100 times more difficult. The eyelet on one end is appealing, and the fork portion prevents pasta from slipping. The product would be more aesthetically pleasing if the area between the fork and the eyelet had a slightly different design.
It appeals to me and appears to have a long life ahead of it.
The quality is excellent. I like using silicone because I don't have to worry about it melting while I'm cooking. It does exactly what it's supposed to.
