My knowledge of whether these titanium bonded rings are the best thing since sliced bread is limited, but they are amazing. It's hard to imagine how I ever got along
You can chop the salad greens and veggies with the tongs while they are in a bowl all at the same time, all in just a few seconds.
It is fun to wash the toss and chop by hand, even though I have a dishwasher. This is a salad you'll also enjoy if you like chopped salad. That's my third one in as many days.
Due to the fact that I have not used or seen the Pampered Chef version, I cannot comment on a direct comparison, but I know that these work great, especially if you are preparing a large salad. Using it reduces the amount of time it takes to chop.

I do have an issue with the spring falling out and getting lost. According to the rating system, 3 stars are given because of the following As long as spring does not fall out and disappear, everything is fine. Since the spring is not permanently or even tightly seated, the spring has fallen out every time I attempted to clean it. You have to be very careful when cleaning it so as There's a lot wrong with that, in my opinion. It's better to be safe than sorry.
This is unsanitary. My excitement about this product was huge because I make salads almost every day, but after 1 use I discovered it was impossible to keep The metal on one end is rusted through by food bits that get stuck on the other What a disgusting thing to do! Even if I scrubbed hard and made the bristles on my dish-washing brushes as fine or as thick as I could, I was unable to remove the food. Biological breeding grounds encourage the growth of mold and bacteria. No good at all. All I can hope is that the one I received was defective and everyone else uses it without harm.
We did follow another reviewer's suggestion and hold the tongs upside down so they cut straight into the bowl instead of We had a giant Cobb salad at a big-time restaurant Normally I would have bought this at a big-box store, but I prefer smaller pieces of everything, so I transformed it into a chopped Cobb salad. It took me only a few minutes to chop big pieces of lettuce (of course), grape tomatoes, and add chunks of apple and celery. It was delicious! A clean environment The process of getting up was easy Use hot water and a brush to clean your windows. (Be cautious! Sharp blades can lead to injuries.
Salad fixings are able to be added to the salad in greater quantities. Despite that, they can be a bit difficult to use. They require a good amount of pressure to There is a point in the game where my hand becomes tired and so I have to stop. I am not sure if that was the case It is possible that rinsing the lettuce under running water has left minerals on the blades that inhibit the lettuce's cutting ability. Make sure your fingers do NOT touch anything in the bowl as you cut. If you don't watch out, you could cut your finger off. heavy duty double blades are designed for harsh conditions. I have a friend who joined Weight Watchers and spent the week eating well and losing weight for the first time in her life Salads were her best friend, and she was never afraid to eat them As much as we wanted to be supportive, we needed to come to terms with the fact that salad scissors/choppers would enter It's a hell of a lot of work, but there's this maddening design flaw in it (both these and the competing brand) which no one in the reviews mentions A little spring regulating the whole mechanism has a habit of getting knocked every now and then and disappearing somewhere in the kitchen when the chopper is pushed. Even when your kitchen is clean, it is difficult to find this spring because it is so small, its trajectory is irregular, and it is quite small. As soon as it is gone, you can no longer use it The world's best Choppers that are too cheap are of no use. Following three pairs of socks and a lot of crawling around, I finally went to the store for some dental floss and tied one end to the spring and the other to the It's finally spring time, and no more springs missing. Instead of looking for fishing line, if I were to do it all over again, I would see if I can find some To me, that seems like a bit less of a Depression-style thing to do The word isish I tried, but it didn't work.
A 20th century invention that made the world a better place. The salad is sliced to the perfect size. And as a bonus, it also works as a blender. Since you can use less dressing (this does a good job of mixing it as you chop), you'll live longer. Smaller bites also reduce your chances of choking if you like to inhale rather than chew. As an added bonus, you can use it to cut chicken or any other item. My word is your bond. I'm very happy with it. The one I keep at work is one I bought a few months ago. is a wonderful invention that is both simple and effective. In addition, it costs a lot less than the Pampered Chef version.
I bought two of these, because I make salad every single day and want to clean one in the dishwasher so I can use the clean one. It is one that works very well and the other one does not work well. It has nothing to do with how sharp they are, but I have no idea why. A couple of these may be off track, and that is why when they clamp down, the lettuce bends rather than cuts. I have also noticed that on both stainless steel parts, even though I've had them for just about two months, there is already rust showing. I think the concept is brilliant. I love the way they feel while cutting. Due to the possibility that you may not be getting what you paid for, I would think twice before buying.
Initially, I thought I would be able to easily rinse the bowl clean. However, I found that most of the chopped vegetables tend to get stuck in the cracks and grooves of the bowl. For a good pair of scissors that are easy to clean, you should use a good pair of scissors that come apart easily.
