There's no mention of it on the spoon.
You could probably eat anything with these, but it wouldn't be very comfortable due to the serrated edges. They're also useful for removing hardened coconut oil from jars!
They appear to be stainless, but I'm not sure if they're 18/8. I've had mine for a long time and they're great for cleaning jalepenos' ribs and seeds. br>I don't eat grapefruit, but that is precisely why they were created.
