While they were a bit difficult to judge as far as color went online, they came out pretty close to how they appeared in person. They looked good with clear and white, but not so much with black. My excitement was immense when I received them. In order to avoid the common delivery problems I have with UPS, I even contacted the seller to obtain a special order. Can you remember a time when you were heartbroken due to such disappointment? My package arrived and I felt exactly the same as I did when I opened it. To go with my new stainless steel gold plated flatware, these plates were to be used as part of my DIY home remodel project. Upon unwrapping the third plate, I broke out in a scream when I noticed that one of the ends was chipped. It was so shocking to me, I cried tears of frustration and cried tears of confusion as I tried to understand how this happened since there is plenty of bubble wrap around I really like these plates, and they are very lightweight (I hoped they would be heavy) . They are nicely crafted and very attractive. As far as my issue is concerned, I will be reaching out to the seller.
