There is a lot of gold available for a low price. Even a single run through the dishwasher would not save it. Even when I tried to wash the dust off with soap and water when they arrived, the gold paint on one of them was destroyed. It would be unsafe to eat off of this and I worry about it chipping into your food, and since it's made in China for a cheap price, you'd wonder what's in it that is chipping off near where you would eat it.
