It is the perfect size for mise en place and the large bowl is perfect for mixing. I have never had a breakage issue with them. There are 10 of them in my order Amazon has provided me with a piece set twice, once about a decade ago (my first set), and once It appears that the set that arrived here today will not be the set that was sold by the manufacturer. Instead it was a brown shipping box containing ten bowls. It has been a week since I received these bowls. The glue was left to soak in the sink overnight last night after I used it.
