Questions & Answers
The timing of your question is funny. Once I have gotten around to everything, I will tell you the whole story. A set of four is sufficient for two sets. The blue sets and the clear sets came in different colors. As I was wondering what is going on, I noticed the red labels, which told the entire story subtly different from each other. It's common to see custard bowls that are blue and preparation A prep set I had returned was exchanged for another prep set. This blue looked so nice, so I decided to go with it. My objective was to find out if I got the correct thing, so I ordered a set of 8. I had to tape two three-piece prep sets, along with "prep" bowls one more time. My next step will be to try to brick and mortar it and locate more of the bluish ones, since they seem to be readily available (hopefully with a label that reads "custard"). According to the Pyrex site, only "custard" is listed, so I do not know if the prep is maybe older or whatever?
You will not find lids on these containers.
This pair is not the ones I'm thinking of. A product with a red plastic lid is available in a larger size. Additionally, I have these (they are a little over six inches wide). Two of them are about two inches across and three inches In these cases, I sometimes place a saucer across them as a lid.
These custard bowls have a top diameter of 4 inches and a bottom diameter of In fact, the inside diameter needs to be adjusted maybe by 1/4 inch due to the thickness of the glass.

These bowls were ordered in place of bowls I had used for many In spite of my best efforts, they managed to sneak around the house and hide themselves until I had only one bowl left. It was a tricky trick because nobody knew how it happened since no one in the house had any idea how. My new glasses are exactly what I was looking for and are the same brand as we previously had. I hope they last as long as our previous ones. When food is served in little dishes so that everyone has their own, I find it convenient and attractive. As a plus, I often use them to hold a recipe's ingredients while I cook or bake. The supply is now back to me, and I am so glad. Households have been told NOT to walk anywhere while these people are inside.
It had been in my family for more than 60 years that I had a set of ancient Pyrex 6oz bowls. Over the years, countless deserts have been served in the bowls. As I was down to two left, I (sadly) broke one of them and decided to retire the other before it failed as well. The only thing I wanted was exact replacements, which is why I thought that I should pay for genuine Pyrex. New bowels are a lot thicker and much less elegant than their predecessors and are made of rather crude materials (probably from The answer is yes, I am Although they are thick and heavy, I think they will be quite durable however, considering how heavy they are, I'm sure they will break upon the first drop. The quality isn't as good as when they used to make them" You can be sure of that.
For years I have given my mother a couple sets of Pyrex custard bowls, but several of them were broken over the past few years, so I chose to buy her a couple new sets. When I started looking for these in April, I never found any in stores, so I checked the Pyrex website just to make sure that they were still available, and they were, but only through their website, and shipping was more than double the price per In the end I ended up shopping on Amazon Prime around Christmas time where they became available for a higher price per set but free shipping, so I ordered The new bowls are twice as thick as the old ones and have a good deal more durability than the old ones. As well as being great for baking, they are also great for snacking, making dips, and making desserts Bowls for ice cream that can be used every day.
Despite repeated cleanings and dishwasher cycles, the top rack cracked or scratched after just one cycle. Upon arrival, the replacement had already been For crying out loud, this is supposed to be Pyrex! They have dramatically lowered the quality of their new formula, I guess. For the longest time I can remember, my mom has had these and one chip in it shows for all the years she has had them. They are the perfect size, shape, and versatility, and I was glad to see they were still available. There aren't as many of them around now as there used to be. A very disappointing experience.
Especially if you have kids who are of an older age (which means you do not have to worry about glass products), these are essentials. The practical size makes them ideal for serving a variety of foods You may have cereal, fruit, soup, or Obviously, these are smaller than conventional cereal or soup bowls, but who eats that much There is enough food for 6 people in this 10 ounce bowl These low fat soft pretzels do well in the microwave and can be easily cleaned up - 8 oz. You can easily clean glass bowls even with melted cheese (which is impossible to clean on ceramic bowls). Although they are not fancy, they do the job well and are I like the way they look.
In the years I spent at my mom's house, I always found new uses for these Pyrex dishes they remained in her possession for many years. The old ones we still have both broke over the years, so I bought these to supplement the two we still have. Thanks to the Amazon reviewers who wrote that the lenses are slightly heavier and a little bit larger than the originals, that's Despite these not being new, the containers still look great and say "Made in the USA" on the bottom. My mom uses them to store uncut vegetables in the refrigerator that do not need to be refrigerated as well as other food items. These are great for many things around the house due to their robust construction and larger size. I definitely recommend this book!.
It was totally shattered when it arrived. We found that the top glass was literally covered in dust upon arrival, but the shipping box was fine, and 3/4 of them seem to work fine, so it is not worth the return fee for a replacement.
Also, you can order your own fruit pies. The uniformity of the buns means I can bake big hamburgers with them. The dish should include ice cream or salsa. There is so much more I could say.
