A year would be enough time for us to get some larger salad bowls. Our needs are perfectly met by these. This size is perfect for salads and pastas that are 'Big'. The cereal my husband says they are good for is good. My opinion is that that is way too much! It has only been a week since we have had them and we have used them four times already. It is such a wonderful feeling to be so happy and happy.
Ok, so here it is. I thought they would be wider, but they are wider than what I expected. It will touch the sides by a slight amount only if you take your husband's hand (larger than a woman's hand). These cups are great for salads and a lot of soup, but they're too small for a lot of drinking. There is no cereal bowl here and they are NOT for cereal. For my kids (my husband and I) putting food on a dinner plate, they're really good. You know teens are like that. They usually eat only part of dinner. If you wanted to use this bowl for cereal it would be a failure because of the narrow width. If you use a lot of milk or cereal, you'll consume a lot of calories. It's not good for either of them. You guessed it, this bowl is for salads and other things.
