Big! Purchase them for salads, ciopino, steamed clams, and other dishes. I've never tasted anything like it! I'm very pleased with them, and the price is also excellent!
The quality is in doubt. After two washes, the stamp at the bottom of the bowl was removed! I have concerns about the materials used and the claim that they are dishwasher and microwave safe.
I'm not sure what you mean by "true," but they're bright white and make a lovely backdrop for food photography. Ideal for a dinner party.
Because Amazon won't let me access a plain photo, I included an unnecessary video. As you can see, there is a lip on the bottom that would rest on a surface, and the bottom of it is unglazed. I don't mind it on granite, but I wouldn't put it on a fine wood table unless it was supported by something.

These are ideal and precisely what I needed. They elevate any meal to the level of a fine dining experience. I've only had them for a few weeks, but I've already begun to use them on a daily basis. I know they can be washed in the dishwasher, but I prefer to wash them by hand. They stack well, and I use them for almost all of my needs.
I have Dowan's 4 oz and 8 oz ramekins, which are fantastic. This line appeals to me because of its high quality. These aren't delicate or durable enough to wear every day, but they're pretty enough to wear on special occasions. I would highly recommend these and am very happy with my purchase. There are no regrets on my part. When my husband first saw them, he was skeptical, but after using them for dinner, he declared them to be excellent. Not only can these be used for dinner, but they can also be used to serve meals at a buffet.
Plowls are a cross between a pasta bowl and a plate, which is why I call them that. I use them for entree salads and even regular Wednesday night dinner plates because they aren't too heavy. Beware - They've got a lot of storage space! When I first made a single salad, it turned out to be enough to feed three people! I haven't tried the pasta yet, but I'm sure they'll be delicious. The higher rim or lip is ideal for holding a knife or fork, just like a plate. I can also see a special dessert plated in the center with plenty of white space around it for added flair.
However, in the days since they arrived, I've used these dishes for everything from breakfast (including sausage rolls that frequently end up on the floor) to Caesar Salad and a lunch of slick papaya halves. In my 73 years, I've become shaky, which makes getting from the kitchen to my livingroom desk, where I eat, a challenge. THESE ARE MY FAVORITE DISHES! They also have a very sophisticated appearance. I'll probably buy another set of four because I'm planning a Christmas dinner and have ruby red chargers that will look great with these plates! Buy them!.

I wouldn't have bought it if the limited-time offer hadn't distracted my eyes from being too busy, and I've never purchased plates from Amazon before. I'm quite taken aback. This is SO MUCH BETTER THAN CRATE'S BRAVO for what BARREL has to offer in terms of both quality and price. And, once again, many thanks. I'm in a good mood! Lol! br>br>Another thing I'd like to mention is that when my husband holds a dish (with food on it, of course), he frequently tilts it. Why? I have no idea. TILTS is all he does. I tell him repeatedly not to tilt the dish with liquid in it, but he's preoccupied with something else. So. . . if you live with someone who is always on the go, always working on something, who doesn't get enough sleep, and who only thinks about EATING when food is in front of him, BUY THIS. PLEASE BUY THIS, YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED. It's also quite attractive.

This is exactly what these "bowls" are for. They're appealing, and they're a warm white, not a cold pure white, just to clarify. We use these every day, they go through an extremely hot dishwasher cycle nightly with commercial dishwasher soap, and we've had no problems so far; I'm concerned about chipping because they aren't super heavy, but we'll see. If anything changes, I'll let you know.
These are exactly what I was looking for in a larger pasta bowl, and they're so lovely! Excellent quality and a lovely scalloped wave detail on the side.
