Questions & Answers

In what dimensions does this bowl come? It seems the dimensions listed on the product page are incorrect?

A cereal bowl is 18 ounces in size. Although the color may not match the corelle dishes set I have, I can live with it, since it is fine to These are my new small cereal bowls because we always run out of small ones! There are 6 1/4 inches in diameter and less than 2 inches in height. Their stacking qualities and durability make them a great choice. It is enough to make my set as beautiful as it is without the rest of the design!

In what dimensions does this bowl measure? To ensure this is the same as the one I have at home, I want to make sure there are no differences. I appreciate it! ?

It is Corelle white or white with a green rim that I am trying to reproduce. Those children are 6 and 7 years old The diameter is 1/8" and the height is 1" These bottles are seven eighths of an inch deep and hold 18 ounces. To the edge of the rim is water.

Approximately 6" wide by 6" high by 2" deep - comes in 18 oz cups. Bowls of 28 ounces are 6 ounces each. 8" by 6". 8" by 3". A 6" wristwatch. According to the product description, it comes in a size of 18oz, but its dimensions are 28oz. What's the correct size? Is that what you say?

Their diameter is 6 inches (a little larger around the outer edges) and their height is 2 inches.

Can they be lead and cadmium free at the same time?

Despite their high consumer protection standards, I wouldn't trust them simply because they are made in the United States, since the country allows very small amounts of lead etc. and is very "business friendly", which means that it doesn't protect its consumers equally to other developed nations. That being said, Corelle is known for the lead and cadmium free products it makes, and bloggers bring attention to them. There are products from this company that are not free of lead and cd, even if there are some. I have the same question, so I'm asking it again. There seems to have been no response from the manufacturer.

These are the best dishes to prepare on a daily basis and for all occasions
5/5

I am devoted to Corelle and have tried all kinds of it, even the non-Corelle varieties The Corelle vitrielle/vitreous glass plates and bowls are made of ceramic glass. There are none that are quite as durable as classic white. There is no doubt that Corelle are the worst. Corelle's various fashion prints, embossed designs, squares, and other new shapes, meanwhile, seemed less durable to me. Chips and breaks are more likely to occur. There is no doubt that the classic white in the traditional shapes will last the longest. These styles are all time favorites. To add to my collection, I will still buy fun prints and new shapes. It is the classic white Corelle I use most often in my collection and every day as a dish to use. The reason I purchased two more sets of these white bowls was because they are so beautiful and useful. While I already keep a great stack of dishes, everyone in my family is eating three meals a day and even my collection will not suffice to keep up and keep me from washing dishes day and night However, I'm happy to have a good reason to get more Corelle, because they last so long I barely buy any anymore, except to replace broken pieces. Regarding this topic, while they are resistant to breaking and can withstand some drops, every once in a while one of them will break when it drops just right on the floor. It is extremely important to sweep, vacuum, and discard the broken pieces, as they don't just smash into half, but into a hundred pieces as well. I wish they broke into cubes like safety glass, My cabinets benefit from their ability to stack well and save so much space. I can stack 6 in the same space as I can stack 7 There is no limit to the number of normal bowls I can stack. This classic shape cereal bowl is also easier to stack than the new shape cereal bowl. It was both Corelle, but as you can see from my attached photo, a tweek in shape made a huge difference in how they stacked- We are able. Compared to the classic form, the classic form nests much better and uses less space. They can also fit in dishwasher racks if they are the right size. Their hard surfaces wash up well in the dishwasher and are always dry, sparkling, and clean afterward. The roof has no nooks and crannies where water can collect. My gatherings are so easy to host when I'm using them because they're easy to store and to clean, and I can have so many that I never use paper/disposable. It is a pleasure to use these dishes, and I recommend them highly to anyone looking for light, space-saving, aesthetically pleasing dishes. Its stackability and easy cleaning make it a long lasting, chipproof piece of dinnerware. It is important to keep in mind that they are slim, light, and made of As they will feel like thin, light glass, don't compare them to ceramics or porcelains or expect them to be the same. Please take note As time has gone on, the Corelle logo on the back of the plates has changed. A photo with all the Corelle logos can be found below. There are dishes on my dinner table that are over 20 The only way I know my Corelle is genuine is if I buy it directly from Corelle or through reputable retailers.

This is a fake As if it were made of glass
3/5

There is no way to tell if these are real or fake. Since these dishes shatter into a million pieces when dropped even from a short 2ft distance from the dishwasher, they can not be real Corelle! I am extremely disappointed because this has now happened twice. There is no doubt that these bowls are not cheap, and I usually buy them because they are supposed to be shatterproof It's true. In fact, they break WORSE than glass, with shards travelling 10 feet (no joke), along with small bits of powdery material all over the room.

Does it really matter what the bowls are made of? Surely there is a reason for that
4/5

Bowls that are decent for the price, but I am not convinced they are authentic. Compared with other bowls I've bought in retail stores (and those bowls are over 8 years old), the bowl I purchased at Amazon has a different logo. Generally, these Amazon Corelle bowls look and feel like standard Corelle bowls, but they're all marked with a bizarre ridge at the base. When you lift a bowl from a stack of other bowls, you can feel the ridge "catch". Perhaps this was an imperfect batch, which is why they put it on sale? I'm not sure how that will affect wear and tear with time. There is some question regarding the authenticity of the ridge and it gets 4 stars.

Corelle is very well known, as it's a bit of a brand. Corelle was given to my husband and me when we were married 42 years ago and we are still using it today. A drop on a ceramic floor is about the only thing it cannot handle. My mother bought me a set of "real dishes" at one point. I realized how great Corelle is not long after I began using it. Its compact size, its non-fattening texture, its microwaveability, and its easy maintenance make it the perfect meal prep item. The Corelle dish is our choice! Got rid of those "real plates" and continue to eat on Corelle only. My friend gave away some of my Corelle bowls to her because she needed everything. On top of that, the tile floor took out some bowls so I had to replace a few. I highly recommend it.

This is an easy to clean product
5/5

This is a tough nut to crack. When we were married 45 years ago, my parents gave me a Corelle dinner set for 8 people. There are still a lot of items from the wedding set left over. My experience is that they last for a long time. I've dropped several of them on wood floors and ceramic kitchen tiles over the years. The thought of them breaking into a million pieces frightened me. No, they did not. The frozen vegetables are in the freezer. Using a microwave and a conventional oven, I baked It is only they are not heated over my stove's burner that I omit. The bowls are intact however, I have to replace them because my ex-girlfriend took them and I can't return them Upon leaving, he took them along with him. They are a great brand and I highly recommend them.

Since many years, it has proven to be valuable
5/5

The Corelle product has been a favorite of mine As well as being lightweight, stacking well, not made of plastic and hard to break, it is also quite durable. Despite handling by our five children and eleven grandchildren, a broken glass almost never shatters far and wide in our kitchen, which is well protected from rain and snow. My husband and I gave one of our adult children some of our white cereal bowls years ago. As I realized later how often we used them, I felt relieved. It simply pleased me that this set was available at such a reasonable price. With enough space to serve cereal, scramble an egg or serve leftovers in the fridge, covered by the Corelle bread plate, I am not short on choices.

This is surprising
5/5

My new Corelle dinnerware was a pleasant surprise in the mail. My first thought was to compare them to toy plates because they are so thin and light. There is no big deal in that, if you ask me. Since my back is bad and I'm getting older fast, I have to look at that as a positive. A customer reviewed these products and mentioned they would shatter if dropped onto a tile floor. I'm sure this is true, but when I first tried to dry a bowl, it slipped from my fingers and hit my tile floor hard. This is rather an example of a resilient, non-crumbling object that bounced three times before coming to rest, without scratches, chips or cracks. The first set I saw was so beautiful that I can't believe I couldn't believe my eyes. I immediately bought another The toughness of them and the fact they do not require heat to cook them makes them also excellent for eating out of the microwave. The number of times I've burned my fingers heating food on my old microwave-safe plates may surprise you! They're often heated faster than the foods we're trying to cook! Who would not want a product made in the USA that is both eminently legal and tough to handle?.
