This is a very useful tool for handicapped individuals

Due to the fact that my right hand doesn't work, I can cut with this. My family doesn't have to cut my food up for me when I eat in a restaurant so I don't have to cook for them. Since the blade guard prevents the blade from cutting into my purse, I can carry the tool.

As you can see, I'm I've never encountered a mezzaluna that's as sharp as this one. Trying to find a bowl to match the shallow blade rocker to use for chopping large salads is still proving to be challenging.
