I've bought several Wusthof Classic knives from various sources, but I've never seen monograms listed as an option.

These knives were purchased to finish a knife set that was given to me as a wedding gift. They've been fantastic for the past two years that we've had them. Don't be fooled by the gourmet version's lower price; it's not the same quality. You're only paying for the brand name, not the quality, with that set. The mid-century modern set is a classic. They are a reasonably priced set that meets our requirements perfectly. We are foodies who prepare high-quality meals and pay attention to how they are presented. Even if it's just the two of us, we don't mind breaking out the fine china. These knives make cutting a steak (or chicken, or whatever) so simple that you won't even notice you're doing it.
