These cheap handles are made of plastic

However, the handle on these knives is made of a very strange lightweight plastic that, although the blades are nice and sharp, is rather odd in appearance. A steak knife's handle should be made of wood, according to me. The knives are just not heavy enough to be used as steak knives.

Knives of the highest quality. It doesn't matter how tough the steak is these slice through it. The handles of this Victorinox can seem cheap to people who are not familiar with the brand, but they are not.
