It was a no-brainer when I came across them on Amazon. They had served us so well for so long that it was clear that a replacement set was in order. Although the old set was still quite usable, they were showing some wear and tear, but not to the point of failure, so there is no shame in having to order a replacement set after all this time. They go through the dish washer just fine. These have to be the best deal on cheap steak knives you'll find anywhere!.
These knives are fantastic! They're the same ones Texas Roadhouse uses, so I ordered a set of them. I reasoned that if they can use them on a regular basis, they must be good. & they are! Handles that are easy to hold and sharp Excellent craftsmanship.

They're inexpensive, the handles are plastic, the blades are thin and flimsy, and the stainless steel stains after only three uses. They can cut, and they can cut well. I spent a lot more money on a set of Wusthof steak knives that were not even close to as good. If I had to do it all over again, I'd go with these instead of the Wushof and save a hundred dollars. br>The heavy knives used at the steakhouse will set you back about $40 each, that's just the reality of the situation. Overall, the $30 investment is well worth it.
I had previously used these knives in a restaurant and had been very pleased with them. The ones with the Polywood handles were purchased. After receiving them, the polywood feels a little light, and the knife's "heft" isn't as satisfying as it would be with a heavier wood. In the hands, he's a little too front heavy. The finish on the polywood, on the other hand, is very nice; it feels like a high-quality resin. It came in a tattered gift box that wasn't particularly suitable for giving. There should have been a flimsy plastic film piece in place to allow you to see the knives but not physically touch them. Because of the poor glue/tape quality, the plastic film had come loose and slid off, allowing your fingers to reach the blades. The blades are extremely sharp, making this a very dangerous situation! So be cautious, especially if there are children present! Excellent price/quality ratio! I wish I had purchased the one that came with the wooden knife block!.

Very good knives that received a lot of positive feedback when they were first used for a family dinner. Due to their larger size than our previous steak knives, the knives become awkward to store in our silverware drawer. After that, I noticed Tramontina had a second listing on Amazon for $12 more, which included a hardwood block to store the knives. After failing to locate the hardwood box separately, we were forced to settle for a bamboo 11-inch box. a knife block that is difficult to cram into a pull-out drawer out of the hutch's drawers Because the Tramontina block closes on both ends, the bamboo block feels less secure than I expected. If the Tramontina hardwood block could be purchased, this set would have received five stars.
We purchased these knives with the intention of using them to eat stakes with. br>It does an excellent job. It has large handles that keep it from slipping out of your hand, as well as good teeth for cutting through meat. Exceptional for eating cows! br>br>.
