I have had several models of electric knives, but I haven't used it as a fillet knife. It is mostly for cutting bread and baguettes that I use them. As soon as the chicken and turkey breasts are hot, this machine cuts them smoothly. This allows me to make thinner slices than I could with ordinary kitchen knives, which had the effect of shredding the breast as well.

I broke the cooling blades on the electric knife after using it a few times. The rubber motor mount fell out of the handle and into the fan. It was a good thing that Amazon refunded my money and I received a new.
I was hoping that it would cut well, but it doesn't. For cutting bread that is somewhat tender or for toast hot from the oven, this has been my main purchase. It used to be that my old electric knife could cut even piping hot bread without having to compress it, but I have had very poor luck with this one so far. The brand will not be purchased.
I haven't purchased an electric knife of this quality for a long time. In addition to the one for household work, I bought one to use for my fish filet knife. I'd bought other fish filet knives that would wear out after a few Several years are involved in this one.

It's a great electric knife, really nice comfort grip and it works I think the price is fair for the quality.
