When I was hurrying to wash the cutlery after a barbeque, I threw the carving fork into a bucket of water to soak with the rest of the cutlery until I had about two hours to wash the whole thing. I later noticed that the yellow dye in the drainage base of my Clear Acrylic Dish Holder had been released by the Carving Fork as it stood in my clear acrylic dish holder. Would you like to follow Wood used in the handles of this kitchen tool is dyed and runs! Yes, the stainless steel is a good gauge, making it sturdy to use, but to make this kitchen utensil last for many years, I think it is best not to submerge it Keep your hands clean as quickly as possible. For the handles, it would have been better to use a harder wood. We need to take care of this. The wood used to make the handles will be compromised if you put in a dishwasher, which will really weaken the wood.
