It is not possible for you to do so. The sharpening will have to be done by a member of the catch service with special tools. The local Cutco store can sharpen your blade for you, so no need to drive far. Brent, thank you for your reply.
There is a 2 inch drop from top to bottom. There's a lot going for this, and it's well balanced & well written Sharp to the point of being painful. I have come to know that this knife is my wife's favorite for any chopping task.

As of right now, it is still in excellent condition. I was unable to afford anything else at the time I bought it. In spite of that, I have gotten my money out of it repeatedly throughout the years I have owned and used it. Excellent quality can be found in this new Cutco knife. Because it is so amazing, I just want to use it I am cutting up everything I can find. In order to replace the remaining knives in my "other brand" set, I am going to have to check out what other items Cutco has. There are only two years old and they are rusting already! You can't go wrong with Cutco knives!.
My favorite Cutco knives are those with a wood handle. It feels like butter to cut with them since they are the sharpest knives I have ever owned. This price was the lowest I saw, and the fact that they have a lifetime warranty and you can sharpen them for free makes the price seem more reasonable. I am slowly adding to my kitchen knife collection, and I was able to find this model at the lowest price.
The price is a little overpriced, but the quality is really good.
It is the perfect size for my little hands and is super durable.
It has a sharpness that I enjoy. It would be nice if their handles were a little more sturdy.
An outstanding knife. The only brand of knives you will ever.
It's a bit thinner than my other knives that are made in Germany, but it's not a big deal.
