Product Description

A HIGH QUALITY STAINLESS STEEL Our 420HC stainless steel blades are heat treated for maximum hardness, edge retention, and can be sharpened to razor-sharpness while retaining their edge retention. Due to its corrosion resistance, the steel used for these items is ideal for kitchen tasks. Every time it comes in contact with meat, fruits or vegetables, it will not oxidize. A full-tang knife has a blade which runs the length of the handle and through the handle of the knife.
KNIFE EDGE WITH BEVEL Traditional Japanese knives in the hands of premier chefs are usually ground with a single bevel to ensure a sharp and precise Blades are meticulously sharpened on the right side to a 15° edge and are left flat on the left side. Compound edges are sharpened on both sides of a tool, typically resulting in a 30° edge, which does not provide as much sharpness. The knife has a razor-sharp edge so you can cut with confidence, and a flat side so you can slice your food cleanly.
Our knives are built with full-tang traditional rosewood handles, so we wanted the handles to be in great working condition for long periods of time and be able to sustain the wear and tear of time. It was impossible for us to use anything else but rosewood for our handles. Solid yet strong and heavy, ore is praised for its ability to be polished while remaining strong and heavy. Adding the Rosewood handle to our full-tang knife design will allow you to utilize the blade throughout both the handle and the blade, assuring you will feel balanced when using the

What do you think about using this in sushi preparation? Have you used it? How has it worked out? Please accept my sincere thanks! ?

Sushi is not for you. I have no doubt that you would be blown away by this. Other than that, I have used it several times, and I find that it is excellent in all respects. It is exactly as it claims to be, and I am a fan of Japanese steel. To sharpen it if ever it gets dull, try ordering a "WHETSTONE". This knife is just wonderful.

A final question - do you make this knife in a left-handed style?

Your question made me happy! Despite the fact that the vast majority of people in the world are right-handed, and only one in 10 are left-handed, we still want our products to work for However, we intend to offer knives that can be used either right or left handed. As a result of this discussion, we are trying to figure out how we can offer this variant. Although we do not have an estimated time for availability, we have placed it at the top of our list. Thank you for taking the time to ask

Controlling the quality of the product was lacking It was such a disappointment to receive this knife, but it may just be my luck that it has a damaged blade

of the blade was not evenly ground when it was factory sharpened, so there is a large dip in the edge. Below is a picture of the item.

A Japanese knife is not an appropriate choice
3/5

I saw this on Amazon, and it looks awesome. A close look shows that it is also a well crafted knife, however it lacks two key characteristics of traditional Japanese steel superior toughness, and extremely high edge retention. 1 .
A heavy knife that does not measure up to actual Japanese knives on that front. It is heavy on top and not balanced correctly. In addition, it is not very user-friendly. The point tends to tilt forward when held in the upright position. The same problem has been solved by Japanese knives in the same price range. .
. As it comes out of the box, it does not have a very sharp edge, and it does not hold its edge very In case you are concerned about the material costing a lot of money, you can sharpen it using a cheap electric grinder. I will throw away the edge shape once the edge shape wears out. Overall, this is a cheap Chinese knife that has been made to look like an expensive Japanese model. In comparison with its quality, it is sold at a steep markup. Purchase of this product does not seem to be a good value for money. Neither the pictures nor paid reviews should be used to determine whether you should buy it. There's no real value in it.

If you wish to avenge the killing of a loved one, this is the best and most affordable option
5/5

You're going to learn a few things about this knife. From its exquisite box to the perfectly proportioned handle to blade ratio, I have never thought I would be able to dice my vegetables with such ease. While I am not a professional chef by any stretch of the imagination, if you saw the knife in action, you would No matter what you are doing- cutting meat, prepping vegetables, or avenging a dead loved one- this knife is the best and least expensive option available There is no way I could rate it less than six stars.

KNIFE IS VERY SHARP AND THE HANDLE IS GOOD! In the picture you can see the various knives I use on a regular basis
5/5

There are two of them, and they are traditional An edge blade is a type of blade. The 'hone' of some tools has worn away over time, and it is quite hard to bring it back to a razor's One of my 'single-action' knives is featured in this post Sushi blades in the style of the Japanese. These knives are $350 each. If you have shopped for similar knives, you know they're affordable. It was a gamble, but I figured it was worth it. Don't let anything deter you. You should not gauge the knife's edge by looking at it with your thumb. Besides feeling different, cutting through it will leave you with a nasty cut! In addition, I discovered it's dangerous to curl your fingertips around the product being sliced as it's being sliced. In this case, the cutting edge is closer. If you want to stay safe, you'll need to use your knuckles and curl your fingers out of the As I was doing onions for the first time, I almost tripped up three times. Being cut is the worst thing that can happen to a chef! Neither I am a rookie nor have I ever attempted something like this before. You can get the 'REAL DEAL' on this knife at a reasonable price. Despite the knife's razor sharp edge, you will still be able to have good knife control. The cutlery I have gotten out of this old box was original to me and I haven't "steeled" it. I love how fast and sharp it is! Thanks for reading

A great knife at an even better price
5/5

I received a knife with a scratch on its face. You can see it in the attached picture. After reaching out to Jason and his team at Simple Song, they were very quick to respond and graciously replaced my knife at no cost. Awesome customer service. Now, let's talk about the knife! . . . This is a great knife for the price point, from packaging to the blade itself. The knife looks beautiful, from its blade to its handle, and I catch myself taking it out of the knife block and staring at it even if I do not need it That looks pretty damn cool, to tell you the truth. note is that the "back" side of the knife has the same etchings/images on it as those on the black box the knife comes in. None of the knife photos adequately display this. Seeing as the knife would look cleaner overall without it, I personally do not find it very appealing from a visual perspective. The knife only has this one problem for me. It is a problem, if you can call it that. Despite its light weight, the handle feels solid and has a nice and solid feel to it. It is not too heavy nor too light to my liking. Since I've been using double beveled knives my entire life, my first cooking experience with a single bevel was definitely a shock, but I'm confident it will feel more natural as I use it more often. With its $43 shipped price, this knife is a great value and I'd recommend it if you are looking for a new knife to add to your collection or if you want an.

Excellent knife for the price
5/5

The quality of the knife makes using it a pleasure. After receiving it as a gift, I ended up using it the entire I'm extremely pleased with the weight and balance of this blade, the finish is perfect, and it has a fantastic hammer. It will be any number of people who will complain about the handle construction of the blade. What you need to know You should keep your blades clean and away from caustic materials, as they will rust if not maintained. When the handles are abused and worn out, they may break. The best way to extend the life of even an inexpensive blade is to hand wash and dry it immediately. A little vegetable oil will help prevent rust. You should clean the crevices, and don't use the knife in the same way you would use a utility knife. I looked high and low for knives on Amazon and come across plenty of high priced knives with mediocre reviews, so THAT is not value for me. My pennies will be better spent on a knife that doesn't cost as much as this one and I'll be happy to give a great review of it.

It is of high quality
4/5

It is made of excellent quality even though the knife appears to be made in China rather than Japan. This has been my daily companion for about three weeks. My experience thus far has been very pleasant, and I feel that it is worth the price. It remains to be seen how long it will stand up.
