Since it has a wooden handle, it's unlikely to be made of metal.
To make a pot roast, you may want to use the 6 quart size. A 4 quart stovetop pan is more ideal for cooking rice or slicing up vegetables.
So far, I have not found a chip in mine since January. On the rim, there is a seam where the enamel ends, I thought it could cause a problem in the long run, but so far it's not been an issue. In addition to looking good, this pan is very functional.

We have 10 pieces in total, each with a different size and use (1 qt wood handle, butter warmer, 2 qt, 4 qt, baking pan, buffet, etc. ). This is so beautiful and I wanted to love it! I love the design, the colors, and just wanted to love them! Unfortunately, since they have only been used for a couple of years, the three we use on heavy rotation have chipped on the inside and now they cannot be used. Using non-chlorine bleach is a very good idea as well Using sponges that are abrasive. This is such a let down! In addition to these ceramic Lodge / Le Creuset pans, I have plenty to choose from, which are still in excellent shape after 10 years. Your money is worth saving!.
That is awful! This is so weak as far as durability is concerned! The pot of water was boiling and I heard something My eyes literally saw the finish cracking and disintegrating in front of me. We are very disappointed with this product and wish it could be returned.
Despite my love for the way this little butter pot looks, I doubt it will work well as a butter warmer. There is no specific issue with my pot and it appears to be a design issue. When I first got it the wooden handle was loose, and while I could tighten it, it loosens again with use. The butter warmer cannot be poured from due to this problem. I just thought I'd point this out to you If the flame is low or if the handle gets burned, it can burn.
My kitchen will have this piece for years to come. I was hoping it would be in my house for years. The enamel develops a tiny knick within a few uses (even after putting extreme effort into not overheating the pot) and has now evolved into a 1 inch lesion, in which the enamel no longer exists, after six months. It's safe to say I won't be cooking with this saucepan anymore. It makes me so sad!.
