A rocking chair was not a good fit for me. For it to go in place, I would have had to put a heavy skillet on top, but could not do that due to lack of oven height.

ugh, but now it's too late. It took weeks and weeks for me to decide to purchase Being that this is an expensive roaster, I am surprised at how well it worked for me at first. It sealed perfectly and worked great. After that, I used the lid to cook salmon in the oven, as directed. A roaster that is no longer sealed perfectly loses its ability to roast. This has disappointed me so much! It fits perfectly if I press down, but as soon as I release it, it pops open and the seal breaks. As a result, my ribs or anything else I want to slow roast will no longer cook properly since heat is now escaping. Using the lid as an oven pan would not be advisable.
If you like running your oven all day and doubling the regular time, then it will work for you. Once you get used to this roaster, you will love it. It took me 13 minutes to do it

The idea of a turkey would be better abandoned if you adopted the idea of a large chicken instead. I recommend using a few shoe horns and a bottle of KY if you plan to stuff a turkey into this pan. Despite its low price, the product seemed to be of great quality. A Cornish game hen would make me giddy with excitement if I were to roast it.

The one I have is my favorite cooker, and I use it more than anything else I've ever owned. The soup I made in it today was chicken soup. As you can see, I don't hide it in a cupboard. I've read other reviews that say it's too nice for that. Great job, I love.

Mostly, deglazing was enough to solve the problem.
The size is a little small, however they are very well-made. This bag is a good fit for some small turkeys and hams if the ham isn't It is best to take a measuring tape to the grocery store when getting the turkey or ham so you can verify the size.
