I would say yes if you bought crab legs at the grocery store. It's quite substantial. This pan was used to bake a huge lasagna. There was still half of the pan left over after feeding five people. This pan can easily accommodate a 22-pound turkey. This pan is one of my favorites.
Temperatures of up to 600 degrees should be no problem for this pan. Normally, nothing is baked at a temperature higher than 450 degrees Fahrenheit.
We did a 10-pound french cut turkey with just the breast and a leg. It weighed 14 pounds and was likely too large for the pan.
Although I cannot vouch for the content, this roasting pan is a great weight for a roasting pan, and I am very happy with the product and its quality. If you bought it, I think you'd be pleased.

We needed a well-built roasting pan that would fit in the new oven. In comparison to older models, new ovens have more insulation. As a result, the inside dimensions of the new oven are smaller than those of the old one. This pan is large enough to hold a large prime rib and fits perfectly. All of this is available at a fantastic price. There is one minor point to consider. Metal stains can be difficult to get rid of. It scrubs cleanly, but there are a few spots of discoloration. This isn't going to change the game at all. We are happy with our purchase because this pan will last forever.
This pan is the perfect size for baking a chicken, but we've also used it to roast beef and lamb. It was always so simple to clean up. While it is dishwasher safe, it is not always necessary to use it. Nothing sticks to it very well, and it's easy to clean. We've had the pan for a few months and it's made of true stainless steel with no signs of rust. The two racks that come with it are perfect; I was looking for a rack that was sizing-flexible, and this one is only one size, but it works perfectly fine; our chickens are usually small, so there is plenty of room in the pan. A small turkey could also be used. I highly recommend this pan and plan to purchase a few as gifts for our friends' weddings and housewarming parties (once the virus has passed).
I'm in love with this roasting pan after baking brisket in it. I was concerned that 1) it wouldn't fit a large roast and 2) it would be difficult to clean. Fully- This was easily a ten-pounder when trimmed. er, and cleaning up was a piece of cake. You can find sturdier pans for $100 elsewhere, but this one is well worth the money at less than $50. This is something I'm excited to use for prime rib during the holidays.
And the reason you're looking is that any 'coated' rack you use will eventually crack/erode/peel/scrape/wash away the 'coating. ' And you'll be sick to your stomach as a result. It's a difficult habit to break, and I really like the look of 'coated' racks and pans. It's just that they only appear that way for a short period of time; otherwise, I'm very pleased with this roasting pan. It'll last for a long time and doesn't have any sharp edges. That's a 3 out of 5 on the scale. 5 lb. The chicken in the photo is surrounded by some friends who will add flavor to it as it roasts tomorrow. It also includes an extra rack for cookies and other small items.
In my pellet grill, I used this to make a delicious Crispy Pork Shoulder. I not only completed the task, but I also cleaned up quickly.
I've tried the 15 1/4 inch stainless steel pan three times and I've seen the difference in the way the roasted meats come out, juicier, tender.
This is a great size for our Weber grill. I roasted a 16-pound pig. Thanksgiving dinner will be turkey. Despite the fact that the pan was charred, it was relatively easy to clean.
After reading the reviews, I was a little hesitant, but I really needed a deep pan for lasagna, and the reviews said it was too thin, warped, or flexed. ) This pan is extremely sturdy; anyone who has ever made lasagna knows how heavy it can be. Mine had a total of four layers. ) Handles are riveted heavy ones as well; I don't see any issues here, but I do like how the handles are vertical and do not angle outwards; this is ideal for smaller ovens. ) This pan comes with two racks, one flat but raised and the other for roasts/turkeys, both of which are very sturdy and have their own handles; I'm not sure what the turkey size limit is, but I wouldn't exceed 20/21 lbs. Great pan, even heat distribution; the only thing that could be done to improve it is to polish the inside by soaking it overnight in soapy water and wiping it clean with a sponge. I was supposed to get two.
