I had to remove the Teflon after the second use and now the surface is Our family used it to cook both prime rib on Christmas Eve, which was roasted at a low temperature, and pork shoulder on Christmas Day, which was baked at Teflon started bubbling and then started coming off in sheets when I cleaned it with Dawn dish detergent. There is rust all over the pan where the Teflon was removed. Neither I nor anyone I know would.
With a home oven that size, you'll be able to cook a large roast with no problem. The Teflon is second rate at best. I used the pan to sear a pork roast before roasting it, and the Teflon is destroyed by 25 percent of the heat. I believe that it would have performed better if they had used the heavier Teflon coating of the Japanese style. If I were to use a roasting pan, I would probably choose a straight heavy steel.

The size of the pan means we're always able to feed all six of us easily!
