As I just got it yesterday, I haven't gotten the chance to cook anything in it yet, but I really want to roast a turkey now. An 18inch roaster such as this one by ImUSA is huge! I took pictures of the tape measure with what I feel is the relevant ones, so you know what you are box, but the second box it came in from Amazon was much too oversized and it moved around a lot during delivery (however the roaster survived just fine). The roaster's lid is thick and heavy, just like One thing in this box that I do not like is the included "meat rack" (it's much too thin to be of any real use, maybe if it had legs to keep it off the floor) but not enough for me to take it away from the four stars. The roasting of beer is not a good idea, however I've never tried it, and who knows all those idiot college students may end up burning themselves on roasted beer cans (I can only hope) I'll update again once I can throw a 100+ person party and cook a large batch of gumbo now that the restrictions have been lifted! I hope you have a great dinner, and please stay safe on the road.
My favourite roaster is this one. This is the 8-year anniversary As well as QT, you must have it. As I mentioned, it is a most versatile size. I did buy the 17-inch version You won't regret buying any of them!.
We lost one in the Amelda storm so this big baby was needed to replace it. It’s a loss for us to lose two sets of cast iron pots. The roaster pan is 18 inches long.
I grew up cooking in the pots with my parents and grandparents. that I have all of the collections, I can begin working on the next book.
Evenly cooks, it doesn't take long to clean, and it's easy to use. The one I purchased for my sister is - Legal system. been using one for six years now and it still looks great and cooks very well.
It is a favorite and is a religion to my mother-in-law. Very good product. Would have liked to purchase the whole set if it were available.
