I had no idea the rack was damaged when I opened the box. I would have preferred stainless steel. A 5 pound bag. If this thing is compared to others, it must be a huge success. Hopefully the rest will follow. Years of roasting will be no problem with a stick rack. I have no problem with that. The foil is wrapped around the buttocks I had no trouble portioning out the ham. Clean up was easy too. It is durable, sturdy, and of a good weight. As of yet, I have not used it for cooking meat, but I have used it for making custards and such with a Bain Marie. There is a secure latch on the handles.

Before you make a purchase, make sure to read about it. The heavy construction is well done. I just received it in the mail today. It was the same one I used when I was a friend. The turkey was roasted to perfection. The meats were very juicy and moist. Quite surprised how easy it was to clean It did everything it said it would do.
