After the rack had been used once, the coating on it had come off
3/5

rack was coated with an acrylic film that didn't stay on after just one Our old Faberware roaster had been around for many years. I purchased this new model to replace it. Thanksgiving was the first time we put our new roaster to good use. And instead of keeping traditions, we made a standing rib roast. The one I picked was The reason I bought it was because of its reputation for quality and because it was rated for 500 degrees (we never roast over 450 degrees, but it was nice to have In order to remove any meat stuck in the roasting pan and rack, I soaked the pan and rack in hot water, after removing the roast and letting everything cool down. Although it says that the roaster and rack can be washed in the dishwasher, I still used a dish cloth to clean them (without using abrasive pads). When I observed that the coating on the rack had come off in a few places, I noticed that the rack was in need of a polish. It was a good thing we prefer bone-in rib roasts, because otherwise I would have had to throw out a $170 roast because I wouldn't have been sure if the coating was actually By looking at the pictures, it is apparent that the coating is no longer intact since it came off in pieces and There is no way I can recommend this product.

This is an awesome roasting pan! It was at Thanksgiving last year that I used my new pan for the first time
5/5

While preparing the gravy I looked at the rack and saw nothing but blackened surfaces instead of lots of solids to add to the sauce. So I added the turkey broth to the pan regardless, and that black spot turned out to be pure turkey dripping FLAvor, and it made the BEST gravy I have ever had. Because this pan will scratch, I purchased a silicone whisk and a large plastic stirring spoon before cooking. The thing that I liked best was being able to lift 15 lbs out of the pan and onto the rack that was included in the set. My cleanup was so effortless that I felt as though I had died and If you are careful not to scratch the roaster, it is a lot less expensive than many similar products, and it cleans very well!.

I really like this pan - it's great! Gets hot under the collar! The ceramic casserole pans that I use most often are large
5/5

They are perfect for roasting turkeys, roasting vegetables, and other large meals. There were several recipes that call for very high oven temperatures and I was fortunate to find an oven that could handle them It has been 45 years since I last wrote! I realized that my pans could not be used at those temperatures! Whenever they break, you never know when it will happen. This is a very dangerous situation. They are showing signs of damage on one of them. Having decided to roast my own turkey this year for Thanksgiving, I retired my old pans and have invested in the use of a metal pan. As a result of this, you can It's so lovely to see Clad! It was the first time I used it yesterday for a roast of Brussels sprouts, carrots, onion, and red potatoes. Four hundred and twenty five degrees I love it! A dark, crisp texture The veggies are evenly and quickly cooked without the pan cracking due to the brown edges. Please be aware There is a lot of weight in this pan. Although I did manage to handle it myself, even with vegetables included, I suspect my husband will be in charge of basting the turkey and finally removing it from My muscles would be too tired to take part in that, but it would be worth the effort.

Pan that is substantial and heavy
5/5

I'm really pleased with how it worked out The pan is very heavy and substantial A thick walled replica is not acceptable. This is only slightly smaller (1") than my previous pan, but it was able to handle a 19 pound turkey without the slightest bit of a I sized the pan better for my oven than the previous one did. Having handles that can be moved around makes it very easy to move the pan and to remove its It is highly recommended by this chef. The deal was only $80, so it was a great buy for me.

Feels and acts differently than It is certified
3/5

The product consists of a number of features The product claims All-America quality, but it does not feel or behave as if it does It is certified. The system I use is All-In-One We currently use a cast-iron pot for cooking and the All-Clad bowl when we bake The griddle we used to have was nonstick and we loved it! With just one cleaning, this roasting pan already had scratches due to a metal utensil I left in it while I washed With how we use our cookware, I'd say this isn't going to last a year. All-in-one I am still willing to buy There are clad products, but this one isn't.

The quality of this item is excellent, and you won't be sorry to buy it! Thanks to my wedding registry, I got this as a wedding gift it's of amazing quality
5/5

My family and I have used it for turkeys, roasts, hams, all sorts of foods. It is pretty much a holiday staple and I am sure I will be using it for a long time to come. It was so beloved by my mom that she requested one for Christmas when I used it for Thanksgiving a year ago.

The quality of what you get depends on your budget
5/5

At Bed Bath and Beyond, I found something that was just as nice, but for a lot less money. I had to throw this away after it began peeling after one year and when I did use it often, the non stick coating began to peel off. There is always a saying that you get what you pay for. All- have always been a favorite of mine The pan is great, and the clad is great, too!.

Using the wire rack for the first time resulted in the finish chipping off. This is replaced by the following It is certified. Using the replacement is still in the planning stage.
