The first time I season my cast iron pots and pans, I use lard. Since I only use my comal for tortillas, I keep it on the stove and I do not wash it. It will become seasoned after it is seasoned. To remove it you can use any oil.

It was a terrible purchase that comal three times I occupied it and then I kissed it three times, and then it got all wet and to the point of being thrown out.
It came in pre-packaged A seasoned professional As soon as I got it, I began using I bought it initially in order to make corn tortillas, but I have since used it for multiple flatbread recipes. Using Indian Naan as a base, Turkish Bazlama will follow. Amazing! I'm in love with it. Note (PS. Maybe there is no need to say this, but before you do anything else, you should just wash this up with water. Make sure you don't put it in a dishwasher or let it become contaminated with dish soap.
I bought this item for camping and it was very helpful. This works great on an electric stove and heats up quickly. I love tortillas because they taste so good!.
Apparently, did not season the bacon well, as I had bacon sticking to it. We will see what happens if I re-season. It still has a nice feel to it. One of the things my mom uses to make cornbread is this one. The reason I bought it was because of this.
