It is not clear which is the width of this rack or which is the depth since there is no obvious front or side to it. My next attempt at answering your question will be to use another approach. The longer 3-foot and the shorter 3-foot were both purchased by me Slot dividers for pans designed by MDesign. There are currently 3 dirty pans in the sink in this style, not enough to fill the top portion of the cabinet with them. It's so hard to pick because they're both so great they're perfect together This model is made of fairly thin metal, but is very sturdy and heavy for its size. I highly recommend that you purchase this set if you have different height pans, as it can accommodate up to three pans of different heights. This slot accommodates pans that are two inches high. It has tiny plastic feet that help it stay put. I no longer have to contend with the clanging of pan stacks, and there's room for my awkward Whitmor perforated round pizza pan (too high to slot in). An improvement of great magnitude.
It would have been great to have this organizer more than a year ago. It is organized and neat in my cabinet. Now you don't have to pull out one cookie sheet and there will be three more I was very impressed with the organizer's handling of this issue.
