Calphalon Pot Racks 18" x 36" Oval Pot Rack - Hard Anodized

During assembly, I thought that the hardware looked like standard zinc coated hardware, not stainless steel hardware. The magnet stuck firmly to neither the rack hardware nor the rack itself, and they are not true stainless steel as their magnets are not magnetic. To verify, I used a stainless steel nut, which can be seen in the photo. Neither the hooks nor the hooks themselves are stainless steel. Although it appears sturdy, and it can be easily assembled, it might cause problems for some people when trying to hang it from their ceiling joists. Ensure you have a high enough ceiling for the pots and pans you plan on hanging before you buy. The length of the table is 8 feet. It almost feels too low, while it is only 10 feet high. It would be ideal if it were possible. A 10 ft. X 8 ft. carpet I have is a nightmare for me. The rack had to be mounted as high as possible due to the ceiling. To mount the rack, I attached eye bolts in the ceiling directly to the rack. The height I have is 5'10" and the width I have is 1 It takes me 1 1/4" to reach the 12" skillet from my head. The 2 extra rounded ends of my racks will be used to hang utensils from the wall above my stove when I mount them to the wall. I also joined two racks together, to hold everything, and to get extra pot hooks, which are not readily available otherwise. Depending on the size of your socket, or if you are using a crescent wrench, you will need a 10mm wrench to tighten the nuts.

My gripe is that it's advertised as stainless steel, but Water can cause it to rust, so if you place it near a sink, or a stove, it will rust.

I updated my rating from 3 stars to 4 after installing it and seeing how bad.

My son inherited this rack when I moved from an older, and slightly larger, Calphalon pot rack I had to leave behind when I Even so, it appears to be the same gauge of metal and the same style. There are notches on it where you can attach If you remove the pot, you can slide the hooks off the notches in order to prevent them from falling off. If you mount the eyebolts sufficiently long and find a ceiling joist that is sufficiently long, you can mount your heavy cookware, Calphalon Commercial, and some cast iron, securely and with ease.

One of these I have owned since I bought it There are matte-finish hooks and bolts on that one, and they are Buying two more recently, I found the included hardware to be shiny, and of inferior quality. The bolts I was using to tighten the nuts ripped in half when I used hand tools to do it. There is a risk that they are cutting corners on the hardware now and you'd be wise to have a few extra nuts and bolts lying around for safety. In terms of quality, the racks are still very good.

I found it to be fairly easy to put together this pot rack. I had to bend it a bit once it was all put together, but I was able to solve the problem in the end. I had the right size wrench to tighten it at the end, even though the directions said I needed the wrong size wrench. The price is a bit excessive for its function, but it's a nice item nonetheless.

A pot rack is on the way! I am so excited. My friend was only going to put it up for a finite amount of time. I am just giddy as we get it down. IT DOES NOT HAVE HARDWARE TO HANG IT ON! There has still been no hanging of it. If you need help finding hanging materials at the hardware store, you can go to that location.

A pot rack is a must-have for our household. Since the day I bought it many years ago, my husband and I have been using it. In honor of Christmas this year, we gave our daughter and son one each. Legal system. I only had one complaint about the screws one of them came in much shorter, and I had to run to the hardware store to buy a replacement. It's not a major issue, but it can put you in a bind. A quality brand name like Calphalon shouldn't be able to do that. As a result, when guests come over to our home, we get so many complements on our pot rack!.

It was his idea to get this for the kitchen so that he could store It is on a wall and being used by him. I asked him how well it works, and he said it works fine. It also allows them to have more cabinet space.

The same item has been purchased in two different homes. They are connected once I have bought two. The rounded ends of the rack are used only two times, while the four middle squares are joined together to make a longer.
