I'm not sure what the temperature is. OFF starts at the bottom of the control, and Max is at the top. Neither I nor anyone else knows what temperature each of the markings represents. Using it for preparing smaller portions of food is a great idea.

The reason I bought this was I didn't like using a 12" electric skillet, or using a large skillet on the stove, for too much cleanup. I cooked some chopped onions and echrich smoked sausage, and scrambled 2 eggs in it. All came out great. It's a little smaller than I expected but I figured that as long as its big enough to hold one person and easy to clean, it should be just fine. As with conventional skillets, the handle attaches to the body of the pan and you can pick it up like you would with a conventional skillet. I am glad I spent the money.

Now that I'm working from home I want a small item that will cook or heat up There is no doubt that this is a good choice. I was surprised that it wasn't as heavy as I thought, and it's easy to clean and hot to use.
The electric fry pan works just like a larger one. Ideally, this would be good for a single serving, but this works just fine.
The item is convenient, works well, and takes up very little counter space. There are no instructions on how to use the "locking" device and the handle requires a fair amount of pressure to attach.
An elderly person with a disability could not operate a stove, so this was purchased for him. For them, it was perfect since they make many kinds of foods, including eggs sandwiches.
