After I got it, I made 6 turkey burgers in and out, you can see in the pictures that the last two are in the photos as well. The first batch didn't fit as many burgers as I hoped, but I managed to fit four. It's better than I anticipated that the heat will be distributed evenly. In the end, I decided to cook some bacon and that's where I was disappointed. It is not long enough to fit all of my bacon, and since I usually cook bacon in the oven anyway, I will just keep doing it that way. The cookware you just bought is amazing! Anyone who is tired of deal with the "hooplah" of cast iron, and wants something that is easy to use, cooks great, is light and cleans up in a flash, then this product is for you! The reason I bought it was because of that. There's a cast iron pan I have that chefs say I should be using since food cooks best in it, but it is That's it for me. Although I like my grill pan, the round shape and the size are too much for my burners, so it's a little hard to heat them Due to the square shape, the fact that it can go in the oven, and the fact that it seemed the right size for two people, I bought it. It's not that I don't think it's great. Part of me does, but not the whole of me. The instructions were missing from the package. It was in awful condition when it arrived (packaging). This item does not come with instructions on whether the dishwashing machine can handle it The oil I am supposed to use is unknown to me as well. After using it for the first time, I noticed that there is a large spot on the bottom of it. I did not use grease while cooking, so I don't know what could have caused that. It looks like the grill marks are very pretty. Unfortunately, the pan is so wide it goes over the edge of my stove, which means the food on the outer edges never gets In it I have cooked hot dogs, fried bologna, french toast, chicken, bacon, and shrimp, and everything has to be cooked in the center because nothing will cook near the outside. The raw egg on the edges of the french toast ought not to be there. Raw chicken will not be eaten by anyone! Even though I like the way the marks appear in the skillet, and it cleans up easily in the sink (still not sure if it can go in the dishwasher), I wish the heat would spread throughout the skillet, and I wish it had been packaged better and had.
