In Ecolution's website, it claims that the "Free + Clear" surface coating is free of BPA, PFOA, and PTFE, but I believe this is only true of the Free + Clear coating
After our first use, we noticed lots of marks all over the spatula after it was cleaned up. I must have used a plastic spatula with a rough edge. We were very disappointed in the results since none of the marks penetrated the top layer. Using the same spatula on multiple skillets without issue has never caused any problems for us. Using silicone utensils on the surface is recommended!

The hot plate initially worked well, but after a few days the handle caught fire. At the joint where it slips over the metal part.
Actual flames for 2 minutes found on the handle. The duration of this video is three My kitchen always has a fire extinguisher on hand, and I was in the kitchen when the flames started, so we were not in danger. Whenever I cook, the temperature is always set at Medium, never higher, and I use an I think it is likely they used an adhesive that caught fire and was smothered by flames.
I'm not sure what the deal is with the handle, but it lays directly on the stove top. As long as it hangs over the side, it can only be used on the front burner.
My experience with this is about a year old This is not the case It's true that sticks are awesome, but many other things are, too There are many non-stick pans on the market today, and they heat fairly evenly. Despite doing the job, there is no flat surface on the pan.
As a result of my review getting one star instead of five, I have changed my rating. My love for this pan ended about a year ago when the coating started peeling. It is supposed to come with a lifetime warranty, so I contacted the seller. I have emailed the seller three times about the warranty, but I have not yet heard back from him. your goal is to buy a pan that you will have to replace every year, and you don't mind supporting a dishonest merchant, then go for You should find something else if that is not possible.
While the bottom has become stained from olive oil spilled over the edge (I still use a little oil or butter when I cook even though it's nonstick), the interior is still perfect. I clean it with dish soap and paper towels Sometimes I have to pay a little more attention to the rivets since I like to crisp the cheese along the edge of omelets, but a quick scrape with my thumb usually takes care of the problem. do not cook tomato sauce or other acidic foods in it There are no restrictions on how long I may keep it It is stainless steel I use for them. As an omelet pan, I still use an older nonstick pan (a Greenpan that is not really a good omelet pan any longer due to sticking) for things like The Ecolution's potential may be understated by my limited use of it, but having an omelet pan upon which I can count is a necessity. I initially treated my Greenpan in the same way, but it started sticking after a few months, even after being extra careful to clean it with A nonstick pan won't last as long as a stainless pan. Prior to this one, my Calphalon nonstick lasted about two years, but it cost a lot more than this one, and I prefer it.
Cooking an "easy over" egg in the pan sticks a bit. It appears that the pan is well made, with a nice handle. I melted Coconut oil over the pan and saw that it was uneven, despite the fact that it appears level. Pans do not contain any oil and the oil appears on the outside. In light of this, I would like to note that we have carefully followed the handling and care instructions.
My pans do not have any metal on them since I am very careful with My feeling is that it should last for a longer period of time. I am not happy with the outcome.
That is the kind of griddle pan I needed it looked great and it was the right color. I am only concerned with the fact that burnish marks may be visible on the surface, based on the instructions. It is only with Teflon or wooden spoons I manage to use these products, and the first time I used my Teflon spatula, a mark was immediately I don't like the spots that keep appearing on my griddle each time I use it, even though there weren't any scratches on I'm fine with it, apart from that.
