It is five inches long. It has a size of 75 by 22 inches. In our opinion, it is not a perfect fit, and as such, we would not recommend getting it just to make.

On the left side there is a run off which is exposed to the elements but that is the end of my worries regarding the grease trap and has nothing to do with the awesome beauty of the black diamond plate on the red handled workhorse likeness I have covering it

My favorite part of this unit is that it's hanger system is lightweight and the grease catcher in the rear is not in the way

Previously I had been using a piece of fabric that was not completely water-proof, and during heavy rains or long periods of rain all I saw on my cooktop was water. The solution to that problem may be found here. My husband and I highly recommend this cover since it looks great and is not that expensive. A couple of minutes are all it takes to assemble it. Additionally, it came packaged in a box that was decently protected with plastic straps all around it for extra strength, as well as foam inserts to keep it stable during shipping and prevent damage.

It is lightweight, but very well constructed. It didn't come with the hardware when we ordered it, so I contacted the company, and they were fantastic.
