No, they can't be microwaved because they're made of aluminum.
These pans are more suitable for a lunch. If you're just doing it for yourself, low country is fine. This isn't your typical large aluminum skillet.

I've bought higher-quality items at the dollar store. It's ridiculous how thin and flimsy these things are. When you use them, don't try to stir anything in them because you'll stab a hole right through them. br>br>Dollar store pans are much thicker and last much longer than regular pans. This is utter garbage.
These aren't quite as powerful as I had anticipated. They're great for lighter fare, but when they're packed with about 1-pound of meat, they're a little too heavy. When lifting off the counter, they bent half a pound. I had hoped for something a little more impressive.
The pans are a good value for the money; they aren't the most durable, but they were adequate for my needs (cinnamon rolls). My only disappointment was that it was about a 12 inch shorter than I had anticipated. I wish the measurements at the bottom of the pan were identical to those at the top. If that were the case, it would be ideal; however, they continue to function admirably. I would purchase this item again.
These adorable little pans come in handy for single-serving meals in the oven, which my daughters enjoy doing.
I make a little extra when I make a casserole to freeze one of these because they are smaller than I expected. When I gave one of these to my elderly mother, she had enough for dinner and lunch the next day. My lids are clear plastic, which I bought on sale. To secure the top, the edges crimp down over the lid's lip, which I remove to re-use. heating.
The size appealed to me because it's ideal for my bread pudding, which I serve to others. br>br>I was disappointed by how thin and fragile they are, to the point where the entire stack looked as if something had fallen on it and they had mashed together, making it difficult to separate them. I had to gently reshape them to make them usable after I separated them. I wish I could give it a higher rating. br>br>.
I was donating food to friends, and this was a quick and simple way to package everything. The only issue I had was that they were thin. I made 10 small meatballs and they struggled to keep their shape in this pan. Corn casserole, on the other hand, did much better. I suppose it is determined by the item's weight and size. Overall, I was still able to serve food in them, with the exception of one hold that was lost from the bottom rather than the sides. After that, I ordered some more in the hopes that they would work well enough.
It appears to be suitable for distributing leftovers or delivering food to others. I hadn't realized how small they were. My failure to pay attention was my fault. They'd be ideal for meal preparation or 2-ingredient dishes. This recipe serves four people.
