I'll be the first to admit that I'm a total nerd when it comes to organization. My spices were taking up too much room, and I couldn't seem to find what I was looking for. I made the decision that I needed to be more organized. I looked at a lot of different things before settling on these lovely glass jars. They brought a large number of tables with them. I had no idea how many spices there were! They also had blank labels, which I used to add spices that weren't on the regular menu. I absolutely love these jars, and they came with ADDITIONAL rectangular and clear labels in case you wanted to lay your jars down rather than upright like mine.
There were items missing from our initial shipment. We quickly received a replacement order and agreed to return the original. I like how organized I am and how I keep all of my spices in one place. On Amazon, I also bought a drawer spice organizer. They were made for each other. I'm very pleased with the finished product.
I am very pleased with the outcome! The shape is nice and square. I ordered them with the 5x10x5 mDesign stackable containers. There were 15 spices in each container. I was able to clear an entire shelf in my cabinet using this combination. This is fantastic! To identify the bins, I used my own label maker, but you could also use the vendor's extra blank labels.
I was anticipating thin ($ store-brand) glass jars, with the expectation that some would break upon arrival. It was a pleasant surprise for me. We're in excellent condition with no breaks or chips, and we're nicely packaged. They're also heavier-weighted glass than I expected, so they should last a long time. We used a Bekvam spice rack from IKEA. br>br> We had to modify the shelves to accommodate the double-wide bottles. It was just a tad on the small side. To make room for the second row of spices, we moved the wood from the "inside" front and installed our own dowel on the outside. When modified as shown (just installed, so we're waiting for the wood putty to dry before sanding), one box of 48 jars fits three Bekvam shelves perfectly at 8 by 2, 16 per shelf (no empty spaces and no extra bottles). You'll only get 8 per shelf if you don't modify them, though you might get a few more if you play Tetris with them and turn some sideways. br>br>The labels aren't paper (maybe a thinner vinyl or something similar), so I expect them to last a long time, and the spice topper (the part with the holes) is also well-made and heavy plastic. Overall, I'm very pleased with them! br>br>I didn't put it through its paces with anything liquid, but it's not leaking spices.
This is a good size-- They're big enough to make buying bulk spices easier, but not so big that you fill them up and end up with dull-looking spices. smelling the spices that are strewn about the place The glass is thick and pleasant to the touch. It didn't break when I dropped it on my hardwood floor. The lids were a perfect fit. The labels were a pleasant surprise to me. I have a fairly large spice collection and discovered that there was a pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing pre-existing preexisting pre I have printed labels for 95% of the spices I have. I also have blank labels for those oh- I used all 48 of the spices I had on hand and plan to re-use them. I'm going to stock up on this exact product to finish off my spice cabinet.
I'm going to show you how I keep all of my spices in one place - I was sick of digging, digging, picking up containers as they fell to the floor, digging, etc. EVERY TIME I wanted to use an herb or spice! To get the job done, get a pack of squared glass bottles. They are EXACTLY what I was looking for! They come with labels and even a silicone funnel to aid in the transfer of contents! Shaker lids, on the other hand, are a thing of the past for me (gack). ), but for those who want them, one for each bottle is included in the package! br>br>My only criticism is that, while there is a large number of pre-requisites, they are not all available at the same time. There is only one copy of each name on the printed labels. I'd like a label on both the lid and the bottle's side. Furthermore, there aren't many blank labels. I have a lot of mixed seasonings, and they're going to run out quickly. *sigh
br>Aside from that, the quality of these bottles is fantastic! After they've been taken out of the dishwasher, they'll be ready to eat. There will be a spice-a-rama if you don't wash. At my house, there will be a party!.
Every component (jars, lids, shakers, and labels) is of excellent quality, and I couldn't be more pleased with this product. The jars are a good size and have a good amount of weight to them. They're square, which means they won't roll around in my spice drawers like my previous round ones. I'm particularly impressed with the labels; I expected them to be made of paper and unable to be moved or adjusted once applied to the jars, but they appear to be plasticized and can be peeled off and moved. I doubt you'd be able to do it repeatedly, but I moved one several times without difficulty. And then there's the sheer quantity and diversity of labels! Except for one (meat tenderizer, in case you're curious), I was able to locate every label I required.
I've purchased the majority of my spices in bulk (which is much less expensive!). ) for years, and dealt with a shoebox full of bags that were a pain to sort through. br>br>Finally took the plunge and purchased these, and I'm so glad I did! I know they'll last because they're made of thick glass, and the wide range of labels was well-chosen. rounded - Despite the fact that my collection is diverse, I only needed to create three labels. br>br>My only regret is that I waited so long to get them, so if you're on the fence about getting them, just do it!.
