Questions & Answers
You will receive two lids with this jar, In terms of how it works, you use the Twister lid for things such as nut butters or other thick mixtures that need stirring to blend properly. I can't use this lid because it's not waterproof The first one is tight, so a second, waterproof one is required The lid has an airtight seal so that liquids like smoothies and cleaning fluids cannot leak. As you can see, the jar is about half the size of the 4-oz. jar, and the blade (16 oz/500 ml for the Twister, as opposed to 36 oz/1000 ml for the Wildside/4" Jars on the side). I think there would be no problem with the Twister being used in smoothies if you were preparing smaller batches. In the case that I had to choose only one jar, and if my budget allowed, I would choose Wildside. There is a larger blade on the 4 than on the 3 Using the side blades, you COULD make nut butters (dropping the edge to scrape the sides is necessary). And since I drink about two quarts of green smoothies a day, the larger capacity is a great thing. In light of this, With the spatula that comes with the Twister jar, you'll almost save the price of the jar. I consider this to be the best spatula I've ever used. Thank you, I hope that helped. It is no secret that I am a huge fan of Blendtec blenders, and they don't pay me to say so!
I am not afraid of your glass, it is very strong and made of co-extruded glass Plastisol is a type of polyester.
Yes, I agree! Making smoothies in this blender with the sealed lid is something I do all of the time. The food processor handles raw carrots, frozen fruits, dense greens, and ice very easily. However, nut butters and things like hummus also work well with the tool.
The answer is yes. While this manual does not have nearly as many recipes as the one that comes with the Blendtec blender itself, it nevertheless contains recipes specifically designed for Soft-serve has become a staple in our house due to the recipe I regularly make Banana Ice Cream at home, so much so that I always keep some frozen bananas on hand for whenever I want to make this delicious dessert. There are (16) recipes in the book, with color photos, rather lovely. I'll post a photo of it.

This was the There was a leak in the original jar! Was hoping the original one was longer lasting and covered by the manufacturer's warranty. In return for spending large sums of money you expect the product to meet your expectations and/or the company stands behind the product. To purchase the warranty replacement, it would be cheaper to purchase it on Amazon. It is unfair for companies to charge you money when you buy their product, but to want to punish you when it Blendtec will never be on my shopping list again.
The bottom of the jar melts, causing a Blentec Blender is the best blender I have ever owned. It has been over a decade since we first purchased our original one. My recent baking project is making hazelnut chocolate spread. I found this twister jar and thought that would be a convenient way to make the spread since I wouldn't have to open it up and push the ingredients down. When making hazelnut chocolate spread in the Blendtec Twister Jar for two times, the bottom plastic started melting and then the mix began to leak! Observed that the blunt blade flops just after washing, as well as the sprocket being I looked at my original jar that is more than ten years old and it is still in good condition. Making a refund request. You can expect it to be returned to you by Amazon. That is a pity, I really wanted this to work.
The product design created two major problems for me with this product, which I liked until I encountered them. My jar was used to make cashew butter (raw cashew without adding anything else, so it's incredibly dry) - I had to run the jar several times before I was able to get the oil from the cashew out to make a smooth texture. After nine months, the cashew butter in the 1st jar was still good until one day, when I was making it, I heard a loud crack and smoke came out of the blender, then found hundreds of tiny, black particles of unknown materials in the All of the butter I threw away. on, I discovered that the bottom of the jar was leaking water after I was cleaning it. A representative from Blendtec customer service called me the next day to tell me what had It seemed as though the rep was familiar with the During my first call, the representative told me to throw away my old jar and to order a new It took about a week for the replacement jar to arrive. It was very good customer service to replace my malfunctioning jar.
I began making cashew butter again after receiving my replacement jar. Unlike days past, I had only to break the jar once, and I found a crumbled piece of black rubber stuck to the bottom of the jar. What is this thing? How did it get here? The twister jar stopped making noise and the blade assembly photo on the Amazon product page was very similar to the photo of the blade assembly on my broken twister jar. I became curious about what happened so I compared the photos. turned out that there should be a black rubber ring between the blade and the jar's base. examination, I found that the black rubber ring around my jar had been removed Because of the severe friction force that occurs while blending raw cashews I assumed it got into my cashew butter. As I learned that the tiny black pieces found in the butter from my 1st jar were shredded pieces of the rubber ring, I decided to throw out the butter. You will notice in the photo of my twister jar that the black rubber ring is absent between the blade and the base. There is a risk of health problems associated with dislocated and shredded rubber. We won't be able to solve the problem by just sending replacement jars containing exactly the same It is imperative that Blendtec re-designs the blade assembly and recalls the product. Ensure you do your research before making a purchase.
It is now my 4th WildSide Jar that has failed and is grinding rubber. I have owned my BlendTec for 5 years now. A second time. There is a design flaw in the jars and after about a year of use (I blend frozen and fresh fruits for smoothies), the rubber gasket starts to slough- The rubber from the external coating of the jar seeped into the internal contents. My experience with the company up until this point has been good-they have either replaced or offered me a reduced price for the WildSide pitcher but when the rubber starts wearing out, I do get irritated. I'm off to make a smoothie. In addition, it creates a terrible grinding noise once it reaches a certain point. The check-in I did was - Taking a look at the current price of the WildSide still amazed me - for a flawed design, they are charging a ridiculous price. Having spent six years on the problem, it has not been fixed. If I replace the jars, I guess that would be more cost-effective than redesigning In my opinion, the manufacturer replaces them pretty well with little to no problem. The WildSide people don't usually ask any additional questions when I contact them each year for my replacement WildSide pitcher. I just mention the pitcher and rubber in my smoothie when I phone them. They're aware of the flaw in the design but prefer to replace it than redesign it. My next step will be to call to see if I can get an additional I do not wash the jar in the dishwasher or soak it for extended periods of time. The fact that it is only a matter of time before the jar starts shedding rubber into my smoothie is one of the reasons I treat it gently. It makes a very nicely blended smoothie when it is brand new, so I cannot fault it. In terms of the base itself, it is still running like new, so there are no complaints. I don't like using the old jar because it's difficult to blend and does a poor job of mixing. The computer is too small for many tasks as well. If you plan to use it to grind frozen items like I do with my fruit smoothies, then you should replace it if you do so.
To replace the complimentary five-jar set I bought 3 months ago, here is this one It had lasted three years since it came with the jar. I have tested this jar for the first two days, and it seems to work fine It begins to release white threads of plastic after 3 months The thickness of the sheet is 2 mm, amount released increased over time. However, when I attempted to submit a warranty claim, the site did not function You are being asked to submit again"), and custom service is very It is very disappointing to be disappointed by the company that I once respected, and I will not recommend any Blendtec products.
