This can't possibly be $30 for only six jars. All of my local grocery stores sell a dozen 16oz (pint) jars for less than $12. This is nearly three times the standard price.
Heat- Microwave and dishwasher safe, tempered durability for water bath canning; The use of clear glass allows for easy visibility. Filling and cleaning are made easier with the wide mouth.
For wide mouth and regular mouth canning jars, Ball also makes a leak-proof storage lid. These lids aren't meant for preserving, but rather for food storage and are ideal for the freezer.

This is essentially a con. These aren't 16 ounces; they're 8 ounces, and they're not worth the money. You can get each of these for $1 and a dozen for $2010 at target, Walmart, Whole Foods, and so on at Walmart, and so on at Walmart, and so.
They're beautiful jars, but they're ridiculously expensive. I can get 12 of the same jars for $12 if I go to a different store. Here I had to pay $30.
and a design that is both up and down. My Famous Salsa does not collect on any ridges at the top. (My son didn't care for the last jars I bought because he claimed he couldn't get his tongue inside to get the last bit out. ) Thank you so much for the jar opener, too!.
Was everything I'd hoped for and more. They are a little on the pricey side. I found them for a lower price at Walmart. However, the overall quality is excellent, so I have no complaints.
It was exactly what I was looking for. These were purchased with the intent of being frozen. I've been on the lookout for 16 oz freezer jars similar to the blue ones I bought a few years ago. These are ideal for me and are not at all expensive. I suppose you could get cheaper canning jars, but if that's what you want to do, these are the wrong jars. I make large pot meals and portion them out into these jars to freeze for later. They are imprinted with the word "freezer. " If there's anything wrong with it, it's the description. So, if you want to freeze something, these jars are the way to go. They're fantastic. If you want to can, you can save money by purchasing other jars. These can also be used for canning if desired. They have a variety of skills. I believe there is a reason for this, or at least I believe there is.
Filling and using these jars is a snap. These are ideal for making homemade jams from locally grown seasonal fruit. My only gripe is that the most recent set I ordered arrived in a cardboard box rather than six bubble wrapped jars. The original cardboard box, with its jar-separating compartments, is extremely useful for storage for me. It's a lot better than having six jars lying around unprotected. I'd order again if my previous orders were still in the case.
The product was exactly as described, and it was ideal for bringing soup to work. When using wide mouth plastic lids rather than metal lids, they do not leak.
Lids aren't up to snuff. Ball jars that were MADE in the USA were difficult to come by. I had orders canceled and negative feedback from other sellers before receiving these. The jars appear to be in good condition, if not exceptional. The lids, on the other hand, had been screwed down so tightly that they were ruined. I misplaced a jar of spaghetti sauce containing approximately $10 in product, which did not come in ball packaging and could have been used and resold. The packaging was adequate and the product arrived quickly, which I find disappointing in today's market because lids are also difficult to come by. It's difficult to determine who to believe.
