They do not disintegrate when they come into contact with water. I've had no problems keeping them in water for up to 30 minutes. I simply believe that if they are composted or dumped in a landfill, they will decompose. It simply means that if you throw it away, it will revert to its natural state. In your cup, it will not break. These are something I use on a daily basis.
It has a capacity of three. 4 tbsp. tea It's fantastic, as well. Even the powdery tea does not leak out if it is tightly tied. One mug at a time is all I use it for.
They've never ripped in all the times I've used them. They're quite durable. It's a good deal even if you don't reuse them - For the price, you get a lot of tea bags, and they hold three cups of tea. 4 tblsp. black tea
These bags are extremely durable and can easily hold bath salts. I use them for a variety of tea leaf sizes, and I've never had a problem with the leaves falling into my cup.

With the lighter test, they didn't burn, but melted, so I now have three hundred (minus the one tested) bags that can't be composted.
If you're looking for plastic teabags for a specific purpose, you've come to the right place. Great! These could come in handy. These teabags are made from 100% RECYCLED PAPER - according to the listing. However, this is not the case. I'm requesting that the company that markets/sells these items not misrepresent (speak falsehoods) about their product because someone in this company screwed up. up, and did not, in my case, send me tea bags made from " 100% recycled paper was used in the production of " They're made of PLASTIC, I believe. " I've included a photo of one of these bags that has melted - MELTED over an open flame, yes. Plastic melts and paper burns. It's no surprise that the bags' durability has been praised in previous reviews. They are indestructible and will not decompose in your compost bin. forever!.
They never allow the tea to escape the bag, so there is never any residue and the cup is always clear. They also dry well, so depending on the tea, I can resteep it if I want to. Of course, there's the added benefit of not having to clean them and the fact that they can be thrown away. They're fairly sturdy, so you could probably dry it out, dump the leaves, and reuse it, though I haven't done so. They have no flavor to me, and you get a lot for your money. When I run out, I'll be sure to reorder.
I use them not only for tea bags, but also for spices bags in soup bases; the quality is excellent and they can be reused if desired.
We received loose tea last year and instead of using a diffuser, we decided to use these bags. The fact that they are disposable is appealing to us. We're not fond of the dripping strings. They hold about 4 to 6 teaspoons of loose tea and steep beautifully. The best part is that there are a plethora of them to choose from! We'll buy these again without a doubt!.
For loose tea and dried peppermint, I usually use a metal mesh filter, which works well but is a pain to clean, especially at work. These bags are just what I was looking for. They're big enough to hold both tea and peppermint, with enough room for it to infuse properly, and they're easy to clean - Put it in the trash. I wish I had discovered these sooner, but I suppose it's better late than never.
as well as surprised! These are a lot bigger and thicker than I expected. I'm actually blown away by how well these are constructed. I used it to soak some mint in my water all day and it didn't fall apart, and it was easy to clean later when I washed it. I think I'll be able to use it again, which is a pleasant surprise. These are something I'd buy again.
Purchase these baggies if you want to store loose tea leaves. They're ideal for brewing tea leaves that haven't been ground yet. It's difficult to find low-cost, high-quality tea bags, so this was the ideal solution. My favorite teas are now available to me.
