They were questioned by me. The following is the message I received. br>"Hello Anna,br>Thank you for contacting us. Yes, because the widest part is 2 inches in diameter, it will fit inside anything with a 2 inch opening.
It is simple to remove the chain. I always use mine in a boiling pot, so I'm guessing your pressure cooker won't get hot enough to melt it or leach anything from the surface treatment.
The spoon that comes with it is quite small, like the kind you might have seen in Miami Vice for scooping small amounts of powder, for example. However, you only need half a TEASPOON with this excellent infuser, which is highly efficient and effective, despite the fact that it could hold a few tablespoons of tea packed ineffectively.

I threw out all of my old ones that were cool in design but had a lot of debris in them. I bought this set and have already used it to make three cups of tea, all of which have turned out beautifully. There was only a small amount of residue left. br>br>The way the top screws and locks into place is fantastic. Makes loading and unloading loose tea leaves a breeze. I also like the attractive and practical'saucers' for resting the tea infuser after you've finished brewing your cup of tea. The infuser holds enough tea for a pot, which is convenient; however, because my teapot has a nice built-in strainer, I only use it for a cup at a time. br>br>I received an email from Apace Living, the seller, with some very helpful tips on how to use the tea infusers. The following was the most helpful message they sent: "To get rid of tea debris, try this:" br> br>br>• Bring two cups of water to a boil. • For about 10 seconds, place your tea infuser in one cup. br>• Give it another 5 seconds of gentle stirring. • Remove the tea infuser from the pot. • Pour it into the second cup and steep for the normal amount of time. br>br>Now you can enjoy a perfect cup of tea with little or no tea debris! "br>br>It has no effect on the strength of the cup of tea and actually aids in the removal of debris!" br>br>I'd recommend these to any tea drinker for the price, effectiveness, and attractive appearance!.
There is no snap on these. at the very top (with downward pressure)! They've got a quarter of a million dollars. Three tabs fit into three slots in a turn style, and once the tabs are seated, you must twist them slightly. Then these aren't going to open at all! This isn't a flaw in the design! They also have a tendency to flip over, but that's what the little hook on the chain's end is for. When you pour the water in, the steeper may turn upside down, but the hook grabs the mug's edge and prevents the chain from falling in. These are fantastic!.
It has a cool design. It's a nice touch to have the little saucer. Unfortunately, there is a fatal flaw in this infuser: The underside of the cap's clips are extremely flimsy and easily break off. Because I'd read about this problem in other reviews, I was extra cautious when screwing the lid on. It didn't matter; three weeks after I received the set, one of the three clips snapped. Avoid this infuser in favor of something more long-lasting.
Cooking with herbal teas is one of my favorite things to do. I used to use cheese cloth or a sachet before I bought this. I had no idea that tea infusers could be larger than a cup, but these infusers have enough space to season several quarts of water for cooking. Overall, I would have given them a five-star rating, but I wish they were more evenly distributed. They need a heavier base so they don't flip, roll, or lay on their side; however, if the locking mechanism was better, weighting would be less of an issue. The lid is attached to the base with three raised catches rather than threads. A word of caution: before filling it with herbs or tea, make sure you try it first. I thought I had it locked, but it wasn't fully seated, and the lid popped off as a result.
I then boiled them in vinegar and hot water to try to remove the metallic taste, but the metallic taste remained. I do not recommend purchasing these tea infusers because there is a strong presence of something metallic. These aren't likely to be made of stainless steel.
Many of them were either extremely stained or simply let too much debris into my cup. This is the best set I've ever bought, and it lives up to every single review I read before placing my order. When I use these infusers, even the finest tea blends contain very little debris. They're incredibly simple to operate and maintain. Last but not least, the bonus spoon comes in handy for unmeasured mixtures and is quite heavy. sturdy. I was expecting it to be flimsy and poorly constructed. What a thoughtful present! I'll place another order so that I'll have plenty on hand when my friends come over.
This will be your final infuser purchase. (Even people who think you're strange for not using regular teabags will enjoy it. ) This time, there are no loose parts anywhere. tea- Infuser of perfection. I also like the plate that comes with it, which makes it very easy to just put the infuser on after a quick brew and then clean it after you've finished your cup of tea.
Customer service is outstanding!! Amazon sent me a replacement after sending me the wrong item, which was labeled as this item on the sticker. They sent me a second replacement because the replacement was another mislabeled tea infuser! They were apologetic, helpful, and quick, and I appreciated how they made no fuss and quickly assisted me to the best of their abilities. Furthermore, the multicup's lid snaps into place with ease. It's simple to use and the ideal size for a pitcher rather than a single mug steeper. I bought these to add herbs to my homemade broths because I was tired of the herbs floating or sinking and not being able to scoop up every last one for a smooth, twigless bone broth every day. It was simply too difficult to strain each cup individually. This is fantastic.
