Because I'm not very good at making videos, I'll try to explain things in writing. Because the infuser is cylindrical, it is equally wide on top and bottom. It was one and a half inches long, according to my measurements. It'll just fit a tealight candle (not that you'll want to use it for that). I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do, but it's very easy to clean!
Yes, I believe so.
Because this tea segment is only two minutes long, of course. Its 36-inch diameter makes it suitable for a variety of water containers, including small teacups, thermoses, and small teapots.
I'm not sure how it reacts to tea over time; I use mine to add pickling spices to lobster and crab boils, as well as to add other spices to simmering soups. Rust does not appear on my tea ball.

This is far more convenient than making a cheesecloth wad of spices.
It's not bad, but it turns upside down when you pour water on it. Aside from that, it is in good working order. Just keep in mind that tea leaves expend a lot of energy, so make sure there's enough space for them to expand.
The first time I used it, I burned myself by trying to prevent the chain from falling into the cup, causing the entire strainer to flip over. Because the strainer's walls are thin, it has flipped over on the cap every time I tried to brew with it, even though I use small 4 oz tea portions to ensure that all of the tea leaves have enough room to open in the small strainer. I decided to keep this strainer for casual brewing because I didn't want to deal with getting another, it's easy to clean, it's easy to store, and it won't break like my gaiwan when I'm careless with it, but please be aware of its flaws and don't make the same mistake I did by reaching for the chain. > <.
Other infusers I've used have had their caps fall off, spilling contents where they weren't wanted. This infuser has a secure cap with a chain and hook that can be attached to the rim of a tall iced tea glass or a stew pot. I've filled this infuser with seasonings for soups, sauces, and especially corned beef and cabbage boil, which adds all the flavor of the seasonings without whole seeds being scattered throughout the recipe. The bottom is part of the entire cup and not separately attached, which is how my previous infuser assembly got lost. Excellent design that is also functional.
It securely holds the contents, with very little 'debris' remaining in the mug after use. It's made of stainless steel, so it won't rust, and it can hold a decent amount of product, allowing you to steep anything from a mild to a very strong cup. It comes with a handy tray that keeps everything neat and tidy. The chain extends far enough to accommodate a taller glass or mug. It's small enough to take with you on a trip. CON: The only disadvantage is that once the liquid enters the strainer, it immediately turns upside down, and it takes some maneuvering to keep it upright. Fortunately, this has no bearing on its functionality, and it is still a good buy, but who wants an upside-down strainer?.
This tea strainer is absolutely fantastic. It's simple to use, fits any mug, and cleans up with just a quick rinse in the sink. I like how it comes with its own metal "rest" so you can always put the strainer down after brewing. I keep the strainer and tea rest in the original small box. It's convenient because it keeps everything in one place without taking up a lot of room.
Small enough for finer coffee grinds, the holes are extremely small. I'm overjoyed right now. I purchased this in the hopes that the holes would be small enough for my coffee grounds, as I'm trying to avoid spending money on larger purchases like a Keurig. Presses' because I move around a lot and end up throwing away anything that doesn't fit in my car. I ended up squandering a lot of cash. br>br>However, because it was so inexpensive, I no longer feel obligated to drink more coffee than I need or want because of how much I paid for an item and the fear that it will go to waste if I don't use it enough.
It's a breeze to use the top. It simply plugs into a standard outlet. Despite this, it is tight and without gaps. The holes in the actual canister are very small, but they are large enough to allow water to pass through easily. The lid's holes are slightly larger, but not by much. My tea still hasn't got any leaves in it. And the size is ideal for allowing tea to expand while also fitting into virtually any mug. 10/10 recommend.
