Selected User Reviews For BSTEAN Tea Filter Bags Disposable Tea Infuser Drawstring Loose Leaf Tea with 100% Natural Unbleached Paper and Free Clip (100 PCS)
I recently purchased some loose tea, but the leaves are so small that they pass through all of my tea infusers. These tea filter bags are ideal for the job. There haven't been any problems with tea leaves escaping. I got it in the medium size, which is perfect for my 2 to 3 teaspoons of tea. I particularly like how the drawstring closes tightly and stays closed, eliminating the need to tie it at the end.
The filter bags are 100% unbleached as well, which means less chemicals are used in the processing of the bags. I also like that it comes with a cute little clip so I can hang the string on it instead of having it fall into my cup. It includes 100 tea bags that will last a long time.
I prefer natural cotton teabags over these because they are 50 times more durable and stronger. Although these paper teabags are adequate for their intended use, as an herbal tea blend formulator, they are far from my first choice. They are prone to ripping, so use caution when handling them. They're not a bad product, though, and I wouldn't discourage anyone from giving them a try if that's their preference. These bags have smooth, tightly woven white drawstrings that I really like. They're the same length on both sides and don't shed fibers or allow liquid to leak through.
These tea bags are wonderful! I use them to store a fine powder supplement and have never had an issue with the powder seeping through the bag. They've stood up to boiling water and haven't broken, which is especially important given that these are crepe-like paper tea bags. The drawstring top is also very easy to use, as I've had other brands come apart after steeping for a long time. I almost threw the clip away at first, but then I realized it's perfect for keeping the tea bag string from falling into the tea, so I'm glad it came with it. br>br>The only problem I had was that after 30 minutes of steeping, I attempted to squeeze out the water with a spoon and immediately ruptured the bag. That's something I'll chalk up to user error and being too rough with these things. The bags are a little delicate, but with care, they can last a long time! br>br>These are fantastic in general. I'd say I'd buy it again, but there are 100 bags in a box, so it might take a while: ) This is an excellent product, and for the price, I strongly advise you to try it.
I couldn't find the two sizes of bags I used to use, so these seemed like a good alternative. br>br>These bags have made me very happy. I was worried that the drawstring wouldn't close completely, but it did. It cinches up nicely, and no tea is flushed into my water even when the bag droops into the water. I was also concerned that if I yanked too hard, the drawstring would break or the bag would rip. I was not let down in any way. Although not as deep as a two bag, I believe these are just as good. br>br>Overall, I thought this was a great bag at a good price. They even include the small clip you can see in the image. I'm guessing it's to keep your string from slipping. This is a nice addition.
This item is for our tea-loving grandson who is currently residing with us while attending college. He despises our coffee habit and insists on introducing us to new teas on a regular basis. He is very pleased with the quality of these bags; they do not leak and are simple to fill. He makes a teapot or thermos full of them, either individually or in batches of three or four, for long nights of homework or test prep (grandparents aren't deaf, so also long nights of online gaming). We'll definitely buy these again, perhaps sooner than we expected, based on the piles of used teabags on the cooktop near the teapot.
Overall, this is a fantastic product! I bought a loose leaf tea that was too fine for my regular tea strainer, resulting in residue in the bottom of my cup. This is not the case with these bags! They properly steep the tea and do not leave any residue in the cup. A miniature clothespin is listed as the "clip" that comes with the bags. It works well, but it's easy to lose track of. br>br>The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because of the packaging. The tea bags were vacuum sealed in plastic, and there was very little extra room, making getting the first few tea bags out extremely difficult. I'm still having trouble with multiple bags coming out at once, even after using about ten bags. br>br>I would buy these again and would recommend them to others.
