You'll save time and money, and your barista skills will impress your friends.

STAINLESS STEEL FOR FOOD SAFETY - We put your health first. You can rest assured that you will get a good deal here. GAS, ELECTRIC, OR INDUCTION STOVETOP - Because it is made of high-quality stainless steel, it can also be used on an induction stovetop. Questions & Answers

Many people claim that this does not produce a strong espresso. Is this accurate? We require a pot capable of producing strong espresso. ?

You could make it quite strong if you used the finest coffee grind this stovepot could tolerate without triggering the safety valve. You could also reduce the amount of water you put in it. All of this effort, however, may result in an espresso that is strong but bitter. You'd need the grind, amount-wise, to make a decent drink. For the type of coffee you use, make sure the water-to-coffee ratio is correct, as well as the heat level (which affects brewing time). br>In terms of notes and texture, it's a slightly different drink: There's a "clearer" taste to it, but it has nothing to do with "strength." My favorite is the one I make on the Breville Batista Express, but it requires even more practice (read: coffee beans that were thrown away) and cost around $600 compared to $25. This one is also used to make a chicory cocktail. I've tried other stovetop espressos, including Bialetti's original, and this one is far superior. It is expected to be available in January, along with three other products, according to the company. version in a cup Then I'll do a thorough review.

Is this pot suitable for making regular coffee?

That is exactly what I did. Kirkland Signature brand fine grind was used. Well- a "regular" coffee made in an "espresso" pot If you think of it as a stainless steel coffee maker, which is exactly what I needed, it's fantastic.

Is the gasket made of silicone or rubber?

silicone

I really like my pot, but I can't seem to get the gasket out of it. Help?

The filter plate is still in place. I took the pot off the heat and simply washed the parts and the area around the filter plate. You should check with the manufacturer to see if the filter plate and gasket can be removed.

Selected User Reviews For LuxHaus Stovetop Espresso Maker - 6 Cup Moka Pot Coffee Maker - 100% Stainless Steel

Outstanding, to be sure
5/5

Stainless steel construction of the highest quality, with a non-tapered top and a spring to aid in the removal of the grounds basket. What's not to like?br>br>I'm not a fan of aluminum, so any aluminum Moka pots are off the table for me. Many of the stainless steel pots taper at the top, making it difficult to see what's cooking inside. That is not the case here. Some are of poor quality, made of thin stainless steel. This one is of higher quality and has a thicker thickness. br>br>THIS IS THE MOKA POT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR FOREVER. I'm going to order another one for my vacation home. When these wear out in 20 years, I'll order a few more to replace them, but I don't think they'll wear out in my lifetime.

Do not go to the coffee shop! Due to the low number of reviews, I was hesitant to purchase at first
5/5

However, I gave it a chance because all of the reviews so far had been extremely positive, and it was a stainless steel pot at a reasonable price (I preferred not to use aluminum). WOW is all I have to say. This is a lovely stainless steel pot that has a premium feel to it. It's extremely simple to clean and operate, and it performs admirably. This morning, I made my first Moka Pot coffee/espresso, and it was incredible. If you're debating whether or not to buy a Moka Pot, this is the one to get. You've come to the right place. You'll be glad you did if you buy this pot. I'm looking forward to starting to reduce my br>expensive coffee shop Americano purchases.

Is it possible for a stainless steel pot to rust? I liked that it was made of stainless steel rather than aluminum, but that's no longer a consideration now that the pot has started to rust

I've never had anything better! For many years, I relied on aluminum makers
5/5

br>After that, I developed an itch from eating aluminum. You can call me a skeptic. br>The aluminum is food-grade, but the gray painted coating on the bottom half has spread to the top. I was completely taken aback. Then I came across this rogue! WooHoo! This is the best of the ones I've had. It comes in a sexy package (which makes it a great Father's Day gift). br>br>Just a couple of reminders - >
1- Do not overfill the funnel filter with espresso. It's as simple as tapping the filter to even it out.
2- Take it off the heat as soon as possible. When all of the espresso has been brewed to the top half, it will make the typical purcolating noise.
3 - Take a sip of your espresso as soon as possible. After that, I give the top half a quick rinse with water to make it gleam.
4 - When the espresso maker isn't in use, keep it away from the stove.
5 - With a light tap while holding upside down, the espresso grounds clean up (come out easily). br>6 - I have no trouble rinsing everything. INTERNALLY AND EXTERNALLY, EVERYTHING ON THIS IS STAINLESS. br>br>I'm not sure what the warranty is on this, but it should last a long time. br>The filter has a spring around the bottom funnel, so you won't have to pry it out with your fingernails when cleaning it. It will show up on its own. br>br>This recipe yields approximately ten servings. Espresso in a 12 oz. cup (Call me obtuse, but that's how I grew up. ) I like freshly ground espresso with a lot of cream. However, when I was younger, I remember a few ounces of hot sweetened condensed milk being added to the brew before pouring it (mi orgullo PR style). br>br>Espresso has been a part of my life since I was about four years old. My grandfather was a fantastic cook, and he served it to me as a treat (with the sweet milk) with toast to dip in (we didn't have enough money for oreos).

It works on both an induction and a glass stovetop
5/5

Coffee is fantastic.   Traditional pots are much less expensive, but I didn't want to use aluminum because the oxidation bothers me. This pot is ideal for making Cuban coffee, and it does so beautifully. On medium and high heat, my glass/induction stove top performs admirably. br>To get rid of any factory odors, I made a throwaway batch of coffee. I let the coffee sit for a couple of hours. It worked perfectly. I like how the coffee filter has a spring in it, so I don't have to constantly pry it out of the coffee maker. Additionally, it is simple to clean.

There are advantages and disadvantages, but the advantages outnumber the disadvantages by a large margin
5/5

Before purchasing, I searched high and low for the manufacturer's country but came up empty-handed. I bought it without this information because it appeared to be better built than other units in the same price range and said 100% stainless steel and had a name that appeared% Following my purchase, I attempted to locate the manufacturer's website in order to learn more about the product's origins, but was unsuccessful. The inside of the boiler pot is not finished in stainless steel, which is a concern for long-term use as well. However, based on the questions posed, I gave the pot five stars because it is simple to clean and operate, and it produces excellent flavor when used with good coffee and filtered water. I've had a lot of fun with this pot in the few weeks that I've had it, and I'm pleased with my purchase. For the price, this is a fantastic product!.

It was disappointing
3/5

I liked how the product looked, but because it's so thin, it's difficult to work with if you use pre-made templates. heated water (though, due to its thinness, it would quickly become cold or lukewarm) water that is warm). br>An even bigger issue for me is that the amount of water one is supposed to put inside appears to be far too large in comparison to the amount of ground-water. It is possible to put coffee. I have a small Bialetti and used it to measure what should be an appropriate amount of water to put in my LuxHaus (far less water than one can put in), but it still tasted weak in comparison to the coffee I get from my Bialetti. I'm not sure why, and I hate writing bad reviews, but this was not up to par. This is a good option if you don't like very strong coffee.
