Questions & Answers

In comparison to Bialette, how would you rate this product? We saved a few bucks by choosing this option. Would you be able to give me a 3-cup size? I like my Bialetti, but would like to get a 3-cup size. ?

In the vast majority of stovetop coffee makers like this one, you will get the same type of espresso. Tasty, but not as good as Starbucks coffee, even if you use Starbucks espresso! In coffee shops, machines pump water through the coffee between 15 and 50 times per minute This is how cream is produced - 19 bars of pressure! There is a problem with Bialetti (last I heard) because it is made in China, and the quality is not consistent. I have all sizes of the stovetop coffee makers. There are always better quality bialettis, but those are usually stainless steel, with higher prices! You now have 14 cups instead of just 2 cups! I have found the stainless steel stovetop coffee makers to be the best quality because they are better constructed! There are also some good ones here, I have a few of these too As well! I adore them!

Can you tell me if the handle is ?

I'm glad you asked. The handle is made from a heat-resistant plastic coated with a soft touch rubber coating.

Does it have a stainless steel coating?

An even more streamlined version of the product can now be found in Stainless Steel. It's

What are the chances that I can make a smaller portion with the 6 cup size if I occasionally need 3 cups?

The answer is definitely yes. Keeping in mind that I am talking about an espresso maker, I love mine. As a consequence, when it says 6 cups, it is referring to espresso cups, which are usually 2 cups A pound and a half. It makes around two and a half 10 ounce cups of coffee when I use my nine-cup coffee maker. If I halve the amount of water and use less coffee, the recipe works just as well. There is no reason to regret buying this.

If you want something to sit on a stove that is made of rubber, don't buy it
3/5

The last dozen times I used it, there were no issues. Due to the rubber handle, I was skeptical at first. It was right to be skeptical, though. Since I was watching it carefully, I was able to turn off the stove as soon as it began to melt.

Your savings will be substantial if you use this pot
5/5

The "3 cup" espresso maker I use has been with me for over five Prior to that, I rely on my Nespresso machine at the office. The cost per shot is 70 cents. No matter how small this portion of the cost is, it is still expensive when compared with the same espresso at Starbucks. My Grosche 3 cup kitchen stove top espresso maker allows me to make a delicious cup of cappuccino every day at a fraction of the cost of Starbucks and/or Nespresso. I have a separate aeroccino foam maker to create the creamy foam in a cappuccino. Granted, NESPRESSO makes a richer tasting brew but the Grosche is a close second and is far cheaper to produce. When you drink from a 6oz cup, you will only have enough for one cup of cappuccino if you use the so-called 3 cup pot. With the Grosche, I love that it works so well, and the handle is designed so it isn't hot on the body of the pot. Bialetti pots I've had before were alright, but the handle was too close to the pot and the handle would get hot or your finger would touch the surface of the pot, which was With the handle design on the grosche, there is no need for this. It has been a very satisfactory purchase for me. As a result, I would rate this model higher than its similar Bialetti counterpart.

The coffee maker is well made
5/5

In addition, My favorite thing about this espresso maker is its quality and craftsmanship. The handle is definitely the highlight of this product, as it is crafted of heavy metal and looks very durable. The finish is exquisite, and the handle and top portion keep their cool to touch, which is incredible. It may seem obvious to you, but if you've used one of these before, you'll It's a perfect fit for me. I've been using it for a week now and am happy with it. As a coffee lover, I make coffee at least four times a day, so this is a real plus for me.

Bialetti was really important to me, and I thought it would be a bit disappointing not to get one
5/5

Although I thought it would be a bad idea not to buy a Bialetti, I liked the look of this piece, so I decided to buy This product is great, it works and it I am in a good mood. It's probably not news to any of you reading this that this is the best method for making.

This is a little better than the competition
5/5

We have worn out six to eight well-worn pairs of boots. I had a Bialetti similar to this one that I adored. The Bialettis had two problems that were similar to this and this fixes them It was the handle melting that caused the problem The handle on this pot is slightly further away from the pot than on I melted the ones that were close to the pot on my gas stove. Unlike other black finishes, the black finish is resistant to coffee stains. Even though I used colored Bialettis, I still had a stain.

I like it because I can make my afternoon coffee in smaller amounts
5/5

The first batch of cookies I made. My preference is for strong, thick coffee, so I filled my compartment, but followed the directions and didn't compress or tamp the freshly ground beans (on my burr grinder, set at medium grind). If you want your coffee as rich as possible and not damage your coffee maker, you should keep the flame as low as possible whenever possible. The water needs to move from the bottom to the top so it can "inject. " During this process, you will hear a hissing and You should hear a hissing noise that is signaling that your top area is full of coffee. Turn off the heat when you hear the hissing noise. In the event that the heat is too high, the flames will spread around the base of your coffee maker and potentially cause damage. If you try to heat the handle too high, you may even melt it, so I suggest using low to medium heat in this instance. You need to be It may take 15 minutes or so for the hissing to stop. It is well worth the effort. I am comparing my stovetop method to my very good Bonavita 1900, which I use for a larger batch of coffee in the morning. The stovetop method produces a slightly stronger, thicker Neither my wife nor I will be able to drink more than a modest cup each This is commonly referred to as "9-4" The Grosche amounts to about 20 ounces of coffee (as opposed to the volume-loving term "cup"). For the afternoon, however, we prefer a smaller amount. The Grosche is a good pick if you're patient and can watch your flame closely to make sure it's not too high or low. For those who need two modest-size cups, the Grosche might be a good one.

Having coffee made by hand is an enjoyable experience
5/5

I feel this hand-made method of preparing espresso is more enjoyable and traditional than an automatic espresso machine. It takes roughly the same amount of time to do both ways, but the cleaner pot is Compared with the other popular brands, I like this brand's look more, and I like details like the handle, the cap, and the red color.
