I would like to congratulate the first responder on answering this question. Italian aluminum is better than Chinese stainless steel, so why should it be preferred? The Bialetti stainless steel ones are also available if you want Japanese stainless steel ones.

Firstly, those that think it doesn't make a nice cup of espresso should consider this. They obviously do not have a good grinder, so their coffee is only a coarse grind. A good cup of coffee can be made with a number of components no matter the medium, but with espresso the grind plays a significant role. The beans I used were very cheap but I have a very nice burr grinder, so I used its settings to grind them finely, and two shots filled the basket in the Moka Pot easily. The directions say to use a hot pot for boiling water for coffee so after preparing the water using this to just below boiling, adding it to the basket base and screwing the top back on, I set it on top of the stove as directed and it is working well so far. I was trying to be as objective as possible in comparing the espresso I tasted to the coffee I have had at a number of restaurants that served espresso. Most of them had been rated as 5 stars. With better beans, I can only imagine how good it will be with even better espressos! This is one of the best cups of espresso I have ever had! This is a great deal for $20, and it is much simpler than normal making an espresso. I can't rave enough about this product from the build quality to quality of the machine. This morning I brewed coffee again after making it last night. You can make a good cup of coffee with it. The surprise was however a little bit unexpected. There is a 12 ounce capacity listed on the package. Mine held only ten ounces after I filled it up all the way to the valve. There are 5 ounces in this bottle. The problem with that is I wouldn't call it However, if the number is 10, it will be ten. It is 10 if 5 of them say it is. Instead of 12, write 5.

As far as I can tell, this one also works. Though the cups are the key reason I wanted it, I also wanted the espresso/turkish coffee cups. My other espresso/turkish coffee cups are enamelo mugs that are not ideal for use in the field. The enamel on these glasses is made of steel, and although they won't break, they always chip when dropped. The rubber is thick and seems to be coated with a durable surface.
Previously, I held this product in high regard, but recently I see that it leaks, so I will try it again and comment on it 21- January to February Let's see what else we can do to make you happy.
As a hardcoat I cannot comment on how well it stands up to direct flame, but I will say it is a sharp-looking, durable, and reasonably priced piece of gear I like the design of this piece of hardware and it makes a nice cup of espresso. There are in fact demitasse cups that come with it that are worth the admission fee alone. I will add them to my hiking kit because they are so light and great. I'm likely to leave the pot in the cupboard at home.
Since I started using it two weeks ago, I have been absolutely thrilled with Has an easy to use interface. It seems sturdy, and the coffee it produces is excellent. It is nice that the machine comes with two cups as well. They are the perfect size for the amount of coffee it makes. This product is very well made and of great quality.
