I had previously read a few other reviews where people had seen bugs in their bags. But I was thinking that it was an isolated incident, so I bought the nettle leaf and the raspberry leaf just in case. It has been a long time since I saw a bug. Each time I used the bag, I double checked to make sure it was closed. But once I had half the bag left, I threw it in a pot with half the brown sugar to make a larger batch and man o man was it good. There were so many tiny bugs crawling around under the leaves and over the leaves in the pot! I was able to see them moving around even though the water was still cold. It was full of bugs from the beginning! There will never be a time when I buy this item from this vendor again. I would like to give consumers the following advice They sell portions that you can sprinkle on a white plate or paper towel after you buy from them. It will be easier to tell if the bag has bugs, since you can see them at the top. Don't be fooled if you don't see them there. The chances are that the bags are in the middle and at the bottom.
