It was an $8 well spent on this item I found for around $8. It has made a huge difference in the taste of the coffee, even my husband has noticed that just by adding foamy milk to our usual coffee/creamer mix, more flavor comes out. The simplicity of the product is a blessing, as long as every time it's used, it needs to be rinsed. Keep it clean doesn't require any effort on your part. In addition to that, it is quite powerful considering that it uses two AA batteries. To check whether it would foam up on heavy cream, I even used it on that.
