Questions & Answers

Why isn't there a stand for this product? I hate having to put it in a drawer every time I use it. ?

As others have stated, it stands on its own just fine, but I wanted to clarify that you should not be concerned about drippings because you should only be rinsing the wand portion and not the handle, and then turning it on over the sink to drain any excess water.

I'm attempting to replace the batteries but am unable to remove the compartment in which they are stored - Do you have any recommendations?

Look at the bottom of the frother for the battery replacement. A black plastic band with an arrow pointing in a particular direction will be visible. THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT STEP. Slide the silver bottom in the arrow's direction. You made a mistake by attempting to slide both the black and silver bands together. Instead, only slide the silver bottom. What is the best way to keep spills under control? I like it, but I always end up burning my hand; is a 12 oz cup too small?

I usually use a mug that is about an inch higher than the liquid and froth on a lower speed rather than a higher speed. For my purposes, this is ideal. If you're going to use the higher speed, I'd recommend putting the liquid in a larger container that can handle spills. Then, in the cup of your choice, pour your beverage.

Mine has been with me for a couple of weeks. When I use it, it becomes slightly bent, vibrates, and wobbles. What is the best way for me to resolve this issue?

If the wand isn't properly protected when traveling, it can bend. To transport it, I recommend keeping it in its original box. Please contact me by phone at (404) 404-4444. 913- 4332, M- Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Eastern Standard Time I'll send someone to take your place.

It works incredibly well
5/5

This tiny milk frother is almost self-explanatory. It performs admirably. There are no cords to deal with because it is battery operated. Even though I use it several times a day, I haven't had to replace the batteries in over a month. It's made of brushed stainless steel, which I like. Because it gets used every day and looks nice with my French press and teakettle, I keep it out on my counter with them. The grip is comfortable in my hand, and the bottom is weighted, so it sits upright on its own when I need to put it down. It comes with three options: off, medium, and high are the three levels of intensity available. I froth milk on high and scramble eggs or mix bouillon broth on medium. br>br>I've tried other frothers before, but they don't compare to this one. It quickly froths milk and does so admirably. Spiced chai tea lattes and regular coffee lattes both benefit from the frothed milk. I even make iced lattes with frothed milk with it when it's cold. br>br>I would strongly recommend this product because it is entertaining, simple to use, and produces the most delicious, perfectly frothed milk. Since I got this little gadget, I haven't bought another cup of Starbucks coffee.

Milk Frothers from the KitchenAid Mixer
5/5

To replace my IKEA frother, I purchased this. I've been drinking a lot of tea lattes lately, but my frother wasn't up to the task, and I knew there had to be a better option that wasn't too expensive. IKEA: IKEA: IKEA: IKEA: IKEA: IKEA: IKEA: IKEA: I br>I purchased my IKEA frother on a whim several years ago. Sure, I had a frother now, and it served me well for years, but the power was insufficient - It was, to put it bluntly, abysmal. In addition, the performance was erratic. The actual frothing of the milk could take an eternity. The wand had become bent (despite the fact that it had been used sparingly), which had a negative impact on the performance. The battery flap began to flip open during use about a year ago, and it eventually refused to close: I had no choice but to use tape to close it. br>br>This upgrade to CafeCasa has been a huge success. Amazing. Amazing. I'll say it once more. Amazing! br>br>CAFE CASAbr>PROSbr>This Cafe Casa frother makes a lot of froth. The engine spins at 15,000 rpms on high. It's only 13,000 on the "low" setting. Who, on the other hand, is going to park it in the low position? Just turn it all the way up and start brewing that Latte. You'll be glad you took the time to do so. In a fraction of the time it takes the IKEA frother to froth my milk, it builds up even more head in that time. br>br>And this frother is heavy. The grip is extremely durable. Lovely stainless steel handle (rather than plastic with a metal coating) Even the finger grooves on the handle make it easier to grip if your hands are wet or slick. br>br>The frothing wand is very sturdy and unlikely to bend by accident, and the whip portion is significantly larger than the one from IKEA, which explains why it froths so much better and faster. br>br>In addition to being a tank, the Cafe Casa Frother is a tank. It has a weight of 8. With the batteries loaded, it weighs 6 oz (245 g). It is essentially a steel-encased power motor. Think of a milk frother as a KitchenAid mixer. Because of the weight, I assume the interior mechanics are also metal (rather than plastic), so it has a longer lifespan than even Kitchen Aid Mixers, which have plastic motor parts. To be fair, I haven't opened it yet, so I can't say for sure that it's all metal parts, but I can't explain the weight any other way. br>br>For those of us who grew up in the 1960s and 1970s and remember how appliances felt when they were still made entirely of metal, this has that feel. It's the kind of thing you'd find in your grandmother's kitchen: It isn't glitzy or flashy; instead, it is simple and elegant, does a fantastic job, and never, ever dies (I'll let you know if it does, but I expect it to outlive me). br>br>However, there is one point I'd like to stress: When I first saw my wand, the small cover piece at the base didn't touch the handle, which I thought was a flaw. I called the seller (on a Saturday) to see if this was normal or if it was a manufacturing defect, and the seller called back within 5 minutes to confirm that the wand pieces and the handle are designed to avoid friction. Although there is likely some variation between individual frother assemblies, with some having a larger gap than others, my gap appears to be normal. However, the pleasant lady on the phone assured me that if there was a problem, she would replace it, so that gets a thumbs up as well. br>br>I'll admit that one of the things that impressed me was how quickly the company responded to my questions (like I said, within five minutes on a Saturday) and made sure that I was satisfied with the product, even if it meant replacing it. They encouraged me to contact them at any time if I had any questions or concerns. In my opinion, the customer service is excellent. br>br>While there are some drawbacks, the benefits outweigh them by a factor of ten. CONS: br>br> While the battery compartment closure mechanism feels very sturdy, there is a slight gap at the base of the handle where the battery compartment closure connects to the handle, which makes some of the assembly feel a little sloppy. The gap does not indicate any kind of failure; it's just that I feel compelled to mention it. The other disadvantage is that, while the switch has Off/Low/High in theory, the "middle stop" isn't particularly noticeable in terms of haptic feedback (that is, you don't necessarily "feel it" when you've reached "low"), and you may have to go to high and back to Low. I, on the other hand, have a tendency to go into overdrive. I'm not sure why there's a low setting at all. However, if you enjoy frothing on "low," you might find it a little irritating. It's been brought to my attention. br>br>These issues have no bearing on my performance or dependability, so I'm not penalizing you. br>br>Overall, I'm quite pleased with my new frother.

For about 6 months, it worked perfectly
4/5

This was purchased to aid in the mixing of supplement drink powders with water while on the road. I was so pleased with the first one that I ordered another for use at home about 6 months later. The older one's speed while immersed began to rapidly degrade shortly after the new one arrived. After about 8 months of use, the older one has deteriorated to the point where it is almost useless to me. I changed the batteries several times in the hopes that it was just bad batteries, but I've come to the conclusion that the motor is simply worn out. br>br>update: br>br>update: br>br>update: 30th of August, 2018br>Wow. I received two unrequested replacements in the mail after I published this review. Great customer service; we'll see how these hold up over time; we'll update in 6 months or so.

Barista- In a matter of seconds, you can make perfect foam
5/5

When you see how simple it is to make your own cappuccino or caffè macchiato, you'll never pay $$$ for one again. br>br>This is a great little gadget. Note that you must ensure that the vessel you use is deep enough and that you counter-balance the vessel. Especially if the liquid is hot, sink the wand well below the surface of the liquid of your choice (cow's milk, coconut milk, almond milk, etc. ). I heat the liquid in whatever pot I have on hand. With the wand inserted to the lowest point and the vessel tilted to the side, I avoided the pot's sides. Continue doing so until you achieve your desired results. Then "knock" the foam down by tapping the pot on the sink two or three times (without splashing) and waiting about thirty seconds. That method resulted in perfectly dense foam, rather than the BUBBLES seen in the photo.

On the batteries, there is a false advertisement
3/5

Broke. As advertised, the item did not include batteries. I've only recently received it, so I haven't had the opportunity to put it to the test. After we install our own batteries, we'll update the review. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> br>br>I really like the fact that it has two speeds. For a 12oz pitcher, high speed is a bit much, but it's not a big deal. It is very popular with the husband. I'm still waiting to hear about the missing batteries that were supposed to come with the package. I'm not sure if I should contact them directly, but I'm hoping they read their customer reviews on a regular basis. br>br>Update: Mine broke on 7/6/20br>br> It just stopped working out of nowhere! I originally assumed it was the battery, but I had just replaced it less than two weeks prior, so I installed brand new batteries today. Nothing happened as a result of it. I was disappointed because I had expected it to last, and I bought one for my daughter because she enjoys dalgona coffee. Arghhhh! br>br>Arghhhh! br>br>Arghhhh! This product has been demoted to a one-star rating.
