This is a solid, attractive, and well-made teapot, so I gave it four stars. I deducted one star because boiling a pot of water takes FOREVER. I've actually walked away and become preoccupied with other tasks, only to return much later to discover that I had completely forgotten I had started making a cup of tea, the pot was still on, and the tea had not yet finished boiling with the pilot on high. zzzzzzz.
However, the lid is burnt and does not close completely, so it will not whistle after 4 months. As a result, I suppose it accomplishes half of its goal. I'm not sure why I bought a wooden tea kettle in the first place. Of course, it's charred.
The kettle is adorable, but it has a pitted bottom. I believe it was because I cooked it on a high-heat burner. The kettle should not be used at extremely high temperatures, which was not mentioned in the online description. As a result, boiling water takes a long time.
It's a little smaller than the one I used to have, but it's ideal for me. I like the way the handle feels and how easily it opens and closes without requiring me to touch anything hot. This is something I would strongly suggest.

It appeals to me. Eat to stay clean and maintain a high level of heat resistance. The only problem is that the whistle isn't loud enough. But it's still a fantastic deal!.
Only a few colors are available. Sturdy. However, it does not blow loudly enough.
I like the product, but it came in a box that was twice as big as it needed to be.
