I figured I would write a small review since I hesitated to buy it because some of the negative reviews concerned me. I used it for two weeks before I gave my honest opinion. The coffee I had was completely covered by coffee grinds. There was not even enough water for it to be The filter (provided) was used, and my own Community breakfast blend was used. I am very pleased with this second cup. In fact, I intended to make use of the K- The cups were what they advertised to be. In the future, I will update after a few more cups.

I have never used a multipurpose appliance quite like this! The first advantage is that it's easy to use, you can use it either way. It is normal for me to program my carafe side the night before so my coffee will be ready when I get up. Keeping the single brew side running is simple enough with this machine. I have not tried to set the single brew side up, but I am sure it does. It is rather too hot when the coffee comes out of the machine, but that's probably not too much of a concern for most coffee drinkers. When I pour my coffee in the morning, I usually put two ice cubes in my cup. However, I like cold food a lot more than people who like hot food. There is nothing better than the single serve side, or K Cup side. The k cup holder is a modular design, so you just have to make sure that as soon as you place the k cup in, you feel the bottom needle puncture it. I only brew iced tea with the single brew side because I only puncture the foil top of the K cups with the needle. You won't need much pressure to puncture the foil top of the K cups, so you can close the cover and use the top needle. As well as the k cup side, there is a water reservoir, but the water reservoir on this unit only holds what you put in it. Most Kurigs, however, This will brew the amount you specify for if you just pour what you require. Having the k cup side high enough out of the mug will fit my large travel mugs. Currently Hamilton Beach 2 is for sale Honestly, this Hamilton Beach FlexBrew Coffee Maker is SUCH a piece of trash that no one from Hamilton Beach wants to be held accountable for its destructive products. Instead, with a computer to generate a stupid message, Hamilton Beach put the product on the market. Never buy a piece of junk that, when you do, the company wants to stress you out so badly that you just give up.

After three months, the company broke down. The product would never be bought again by me. It leaks out of the front of the single-serve espresso machine a maximum of twice (or more) a week, and grounds and hot coffee are spilled.
