Please accept my sincere apologies, Joanne. I wish I knew what I could do to assist you, but I don't. The gadgets on the unit, as well as the price-- Perhaps even when they were on the market. Except for the fact that I adore a BUNN, I don't know much. It brews the best coffee and does so in under three minutes. Knowing BUNN as well as I do, I'm confident that any of them would be ideal for you. I'm sorry, but I'm unable to provide any additional information. I've had three different ones in my life (I'm now 63), and I hope I never have to buy anything other than a BUNN!
Bunn residential coffee makers, after speaking with corporate headquarters, said: All of GR's, BX's, BT's, and SPEED BREW's products are manufactured in the United States. The NHS Velocity is manufactured "overseas," which I assume means China because it is clearly stated on the box, as some of you have pointed out. Call the corporate headquarters if you have a different model, whether commercial or residential, and want to know where it's made. They've been extremely beneficial. 800- 352- 2866
The purpose of this coffee brewer is to make a faster pot of coffee by leaving the reservoir on, which was designed for this purpose. This coffee brewer should not be purchased if you intend to turn it off between uses. You'll defeat its entire purpose, reducing its functionality to that of a typical $20 coffee brewer (except that a typical $20 coffee brewer is programmable, whereas this one isn't, so leaving the reservoir on eliminates the need for it). By turning off the reservoir between uses, you're paying 5 times the price for a brewer that you don't need for no reason.
It had been a few years since I had done mine. It was the FINAL coffee maker made in the United States of America. Bunn's number must be dialed. When I received a free new sprayhead in Illinois, I met some wonderful people. Try it with some of India's other Chinese call centers.

Let me begin by saying that, like the majority of people looking to purchase a Bunn coffee maker, I've been using them for years. It took 6 years for my previous maker to complete it. It probably would have lasted longer if I didn't have very hard water, never filtered it, and never cleaned the maker (it was manufactured in 2013 and went out 3 days ago). After dismantling it to see if it could be repaired, I got a good look at what hard water had done to my coffee maker. I'll use filtered water this time, and I'll clean the maker once a month. Having said that, I did read all (or nearly all) of the negative reviews and saw where people said things like "The filter basket will overflow water and coffee grounds"- br>"For two days, the coffee maker reeked of burning plastic. " 3 days after the first use"- br>"You can't seem to get the coffee maker to make a strong enough cup"- br>"The coffee temperature is not hot enough after it finishes brewing" br>"Bunn coffee makers used to be great, now they're junk, don't waste your money" br>"I've never had any of the above complaints" br>"I've never had any of the above complaints" br>"I've never had any of the above complaints" br>"I've never had any of the above complaints" br I like really strong coffee, so I fill the filter almost to the brim with it (trust me, it's strong), and it doesn't overflow on me. It's hot enough that trying to take a big drink from a new cup will scald your insides. There isn't a whiff of burning plastic. It takes 3 minutes to brew a pot of coffee. Oh, and I read somewhere that you need to refill the water tank after each pot of coffee or remember to turn off the water tank switch or the heating element will be burned out. That is incorrect because, unless you turn the maker upside down and drain it, there will always be water in the tank once enough water has been added to the maker and the water begins to flow out into the pot. I gave this Bunn a total of five stars. My only and final question is how long it will last; if it fails before three years, I will notify you. It's hard for me to believe I'm writing this review. I've had these coffee makers for a long time and have always adored them. The new model, as well as my previous model, had issues with the coffee filter overflowing and spilling all over the counter. If an additional part is required to restrict the flow, it should be included in the package. The new machine is constantly dumping coffee, water, and grinds onto the counter. When you give these as gifts, the problem gets worse because they all have the same issues and no solution. We're working on it, but if I find a solution, I'll have to send it to the people I've given the solution to. Yes, we've always used BUNN filters and reduced the coffee level to the point where the coffee is so weak that it's a bad cup of coffee. I'm looking for a solution through BUNN, and if it's "fixed," I'll post another review. br>br>I contacted the company, and they sent me a low-flow nozzle. Yes, it worked, and the coffee maker is still faster than most others. I've increased the amount of coffee in the filter and am now enjoying a much better, stronger cup of coffee. I suggested to the company that these restrictor nozzles be included with the machine, as this would eliminate the negative feedback associated with the coffee filter overflowing. I changed my rating to like because I believe these restrictor nozzles should be included with the Bunn Coffee Maker from the start.
If you're anything like me, which I doubt many of you are, but if you are, this is the ONLY coffee maker you should buy! br>br>I'm the guy who yells at the microwave to speed up. Even recalling the days when you had to reheat TV dinners in the OVEN. Back when the TV remote was the closest child to the television, and everyone in the family knew where to adjust the rabbit ears to get the best reception. br>br>Let's get back to Bunn. Bunn existed before Mr. Coffee, the sexist, misogynistic jackass that he is. Consider a COFFEE MAKER FOR BUSINESS. Bunn has me four cups in when it used to take fifteen minutes for Mr. Coffee to even show up to the race. There is no better coffee maker out there, in my opinion, unless it produces IV bags and a drip that allows you to just mainline your coffee, as I am a professional coffee drinker. Bunn baby, until such a time comes.
