The overall impression I got from this was good. Although the container is a bit bulky, it makes for a good product and is quite simple. It worked for about 12 times, and then started draining into the carafe randomly. In the past, it happened every now and then, now it occurs twice in a 12-hour span. It's clear this is not going to work. I contacted the company first, and I will modify my review if necessary. While you wait, I wanted to bring to your attention that this product may cause harm.

But it leaks! I really wanted to like this! It is so disappointing to me. Following all of the directions, I let the first batch sit overnight with all of the directions followed and returned in the morning to find it sitting in a puddle of coffee. After the first attempt, I thought it might just have been an accident, so the second attempt was unsuccessful. The photo below shows what it looked like three hours after the fire started. A slow leak is definitely present where the clear plastic and the base meet. The news is so disappointing to me. Despite looking great, this product may not be as high quality as it seems. $55 isn't expensive enough to have a defective product, so hopefully it's just a hiccup.

Any coffee related item is a must try since we drink a lot of coffee. We got coffee, followed the instructions, left it overnight, and the next morning we saw this amazing looking coffee through the window. Very eagerly we poured it into the base, added a bit of milk, put some ice in and that was I enjoyed a great cup of coffee with a cool pun. The product itself is a very high quality item, and the components feel solid, at first glance, the packaging looks very luxurious. Once it is opened, the product looks and feels very high quality.
